This role helps to configure and maintain automation components and processes in manufacturing facilities.\nWhat you’ll do:\nConfigure and integrate automation components such as sensors, actuators, and communication protocols.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand automation requirements and translate them into technical specifications.\n\nCreate intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for operators to monitor and control automated systems effectively.\n\nIntegrate different automation components and systems to ensure seamless communication and functionality.\n\nConduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of automation solutions to identify and resolve issues.\n\nAnalyze existing processes and identify opportunities for automation to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance overall quality.\n\nImplement changes to streamline workflows and increase productivity.\n\nCreate detailed documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and standard operating procedures for implemented automation systems.\n\nPerform accurate analyses, conduct research, and draw meaningful conclusions about potential job/work-area impacts.\n\nDraw from prior experience, interpret facts, and identify incomplete data/anomalies to solve problems.\n\nUse innovative solutions to enhance personal work and, where applicable, the work of the team.\n\nEffectively apply functional, process, and procedural or technical knowledge to address business challenges.\n\nProvide guidance and assistance to entry-level professionals.\n\nInfluence others within the job area through explanation of facts and policies to resolve routine issues.\n\nPerform other duties as needed.\n\nWhat you have:\nBachelor’s degree in a related field.\n\n2-4 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nWhat you’re good at:\nDemonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.\n\nExcellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.\n\nAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.\n\nHigh level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.\n\nProficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.\n\nWhat Else?\nThis position requires the team member to work with machinery in an environment where there may be fluctuating temperatures, and additional department-specific variables.
