Whether you want to lead more, innovate more, learn more or create more, you can find your more with Mohawk.\nWhat we need:\nThis role will troubleshoot repairs and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as electronic controls, conveyor systems, production machines and equipment.\nWhat you’ll do:\nAssist in the development of the production and manufacturing processes.\nProvide equipment maintenance and technical support to production department.\nRecommend the correct and appropriate procedures of the production assembly.\nMinimize equipment downtime and ensure all production equipment is always functional.\nTest, calibrate, repair, and modify control and instrumentation systems for plant production/process equipment. Prepare reports and records on such activities.\nAssemble, test, and modify experimental and/or operational electrical machinery, electrical control equipment, electrical circuitry, and components according to engineering specifications in industrial or commercial plants and laboratories.\nDiagnose causes of malfunctions or failures of instruments and control systems and perform preventive/corrective maintenance.\nRecord data; recommend modification or replacement of failed equipment.\nTroubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as electronic controls, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment.\nLay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electronic development and production equipment, parts, components, and systems according to engineering instructions.\nAnalyze and interpret test data.\nEvaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production model.\nRecommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.\nActively participate in group activities and collaborates with team.\nPerform other duties as needed.\nWhat you have:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent experience.\nAssociate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance field preferred.\n2 or more years in industrial electro-mechanical maintenance or relevant experience.\nWhat you’re good at:\nApplies conceptual knowledge of the theories, practices, and procedures within a discipline.\nExcellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.\nAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.\nHigh level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.\nProficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.\nCapable of interpreting blueprints and CAD drawings.\nWhat else?\nOccasional exposure to hazardous conditions caused by noise, moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and other conditions associated with a high-traffic production floor.\nMust be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time.\nBending, crouching, and stooping may be required.\nMust be able to work in non-climate-controlled facilities.\nThe work environment may be a noisy, high traffic manufacturing production floor.\nMay be required to work a flexible schedule to include evening and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.\nThe ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.\nThe ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.\nMohawk Industries is a leading global flooring manufacturer that creates products to enhance residential and commercial spaces around the world.
