This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring program alignment with business goals, and driving successful financial outcomes.\nWhat you'll do:\nEvaluate the effectiveness of operational processes, procedures, and controls to maximize departmental productivity and attainment of operational goals.\n\nParticipates in and may manage large, cross-functional projects or initiatives with strategic importance.\n\nPerforms high-level critical thinking, detailed information gathering and application of business knowledge.\n\nGenerates fresh perspectives, breakthrough ideas, and new approaches that create value in the market.\n\nProactively investigates and/or leads investigations of alternative approaches, technologies, or partnerships.\n\nDevelop and implement project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution of FP&A programs.\n\nMonitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and successful completion of programs.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align program goals with business objectives and drive consistent execution.\n\nIdentify and implement opportunities for improving financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.\n\nDevelop and refine financial models, tools, and systems to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of FP&A activities.\n\nWork closely with finance, accounting, and IT teams to integrate financial systems and streamline data flows for improved reporting and analysis.\n\nFacilitate communication and coordination between departments to ensure alignment of financial plans and forecasts with operational strategies.\n\nOversee the development and delivery of accurate and timely financial reports, including variance analysis, executive summaries, and performance dashboards.\n\nAnalyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to senior management.\n\nEnsure the integrity and accuracy of financial data used in reporting and analysis, adhering to best practices and regulatory requirements.\n\nStay current with industry trends, financial regulations, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement in FP&A processes.\n\nImplement best practices in financial planning, analysis, and reporting to enhance decision-making and drive business performance.\n\nLead initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of FP&A activities, including the adoption of new tools, technologies, and methodologies.\n\nPerform other duties, as necessary.\n\nWhat you have:\nBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.\n\n6-8 years of job-related experience or equivalent education and/or experience.\n\nCPA or CMA certification preferred.\n\nWhat you're good at:\nRequires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field.\n\nRecognized cross-functionally as an expert within one or two subject matter areas.\n\nExcellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.\n\nAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.\n\nHigh level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.\n\nProficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.\n\nFlexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.\n\nHigh degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.\n\nProficient in SAP.\n\nKnowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) and Sarbanes-Oxley.\n\nWhat else?\nTemporary indirect reporting relationships may exist while working as Project lead.
