This role collaborates closely with marketing, merchandising, sales, and creative teams to deliver effective design solutions that strengthen brand presence, enhance the customer’s experience, and support business growth. The ideal candidate combines strong creative design expertise with knowledge of retail environments, production processes, photography and image editing best practices, brand standards, and emerging creative technologies. This individual thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages multiple priorities simultaneously, and delivers high-quality work that aligns with business objectives.\nWhat You'll do:\nConsult with employees throughout the company to determine project needs.\nUse artistic skills and basic design principles to determine the best visual effect in planning, developing, and designing creative materials that are consistent with the image of Company brands.\nConsult with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate business needs into effective creative solutions.\nApply advanced image editing, photo enhancement, and visual asset preparation techniques to support marketing and retail communications.\nReview proofs to ensure that all specifications are met, and the best visual effect is achieved.\nCollaborate with team members to contribute ideas for concept development.\nDesign and produce marketing materials that support promotional programs, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.\nCreate visual solutions across print, digital, retail merchandising, display, signage, packaging, and point-of-sale materials.\nEnsure all creative deliverables align with established brand standards and visual identity guidelines.\nPrepare final production-ready artwork and files for print, manufacturing, and vendor partners.\nManage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.\nExplore opportunities to leverage AI-powered creative technologies and new design tools to improve productivity and creative effectiveness\nResearch design trends to keep abreast of industry trends, techniques, technology, and software.\nDetermine ways to enhance the company’s designs from those of competitors.\nWork on projects and assignments as part of a large work team.\nDraw from prior experience, interpret facts, and identify incomplete data/anomalies to solve problems.\nUses innovative solutions to enhance personal work and, where applicable, the work of the team.\nEffectively apply functional, process, and procedural or technical knowledge to address business challenges.\nInfluence others within the job area through explanation of facts and policies to resolve routine issues.\nPerforms other duties as needed.\n\nWhat you have:\nBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.\n2-4 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience. \nAdvanced knowledge in color correction, image resolutions, advanced photography skills and current workflow procedures.\nStrong understanding of Typography, Layout and Composition, Color theory, Brand Application, and Print Production processes.\nProficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Workfront, Adobe Firefly\nPreferred:\nExperience supporting retail, home improvement, consumer products, building products, or shopper marketing programs.\nExperience designing retail signage, point-of-sale materials, in-store displays, packaging, or merchandising assets\n\nWhat you're good at:\nDemonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.\nStrong Business Acumen, able to translate business objectives to creative solutions.\nExcellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.\nAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.\nHigh level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite\nAbility to use Mac and PC.\nAbility to collaborate across many teams and cross functional partners.\nAbility to manage and execute projects.\n\nMohawk Industries is a leading global flooring manufacturer that creates products to enhance residential and commercial spaces around the world.
