This role utilizes strong knowledge of the design industry practices and standards in the production of designs and is responsible for creating visually appealing effective designs.\nWhat you'll do:\nConsult with employees throughout the company to determine project needs.\nPrimary focus will be high-level Photoshop retouching, color grading, and commercial image processing to produce polished products visuals, ad collateral, and digital promotional material that drives engagement.\nUtilize generative AI video tools to create short-form, supplemental motion content to support marketing campaigns.\nTranslate client needs into multiple design options that allow flexibility in achieving the project's goals.\nUse artistic skills and basic design principles to determine the best visual effect in planning, developing, and designing creative materials that are consistent with the image of Company brands.\nReview proofs to ensure that all specifications are met, and the best visual effect is achieved.\nCollaborate with team members to contribute ideas for concept development.\nMaintain all completed project files for future use.\nResearch design trends to keep abreast of industry trends, techniques, technology, and software.\nDetermine ways to enhance the company’s designs from those of competitors.\nWork on projects and assignments as part of a large work team.\nDraw from prior experience, interpret facts, and identify incomplete data/anomalies to solve problems.\nUses innovative solutions to enhance personal work and, where applicable, the work of the team.\nEffectively apply functional, process, and procedural or technical knowledge to address business challenges.\nProvide guidance and assistance to entry-level professionals.\nInfluence others within the job area through explanation of facts and policies to resolve routine issues.\nPerforms other duties as needed.\nWhat you have:\nBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience. \n2-4 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.\nA solid foundation in photography is a strong plus, allowing you to capture crisp, original product and brand imagery directly for the advertising pipeline. \nAdvanced knowledge in color correction, image resolutions, advanced photography skills and current workflow procedures.\nSkills in post-production editing.\nProficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Spark, Premiere.\nWhat you're good at:\nDemonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.\nExcellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.\nAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.\nHigh level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Quark, and Photoshop.\nAbility to use Mac and PC.\nKnowledge of graphic illustration and art design principles and concepts.\nAbility to manage and execute projects.\nMohawk Industries is a leading global flooring manufacturer that creates products to enhance residential and commercial spaces around the world.
