Whether you want to lead more, innovate more, learn more or create more, you can find your more with Mohawk.\nWhat we need:\nThe Internal Auditor is an established performer that serves as an internal audit resource with assigned clients and will use their knowledge and experience to perform professional internal auditing work involving projects, consulting services, and providing input on the development of internal auditing plans. This role will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and reporting of internal audit engagements.\nWhat you'll do:\nDevelop and execute comprehensive audit plans based on the organization's risk profile and regulatory requirements.\n\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business processes and potential risks.\n\nConduct interviews; examine transactions, documents, records, and reports; and observe procedures to evaluate adequacy of internal controls and compliance with policies and procedures.\n\nMaintain detailed audit documentation, including workpapers, findings, and recommendations.\n\nEnsure that audit documentation complies with professional standards.\n\nIdentifies and defines issues, analyzes evidence, and makes suggestions to improve issues.\n\nPrepares working papers in accordance with professional standards.\n\nWrites and reviews audit reports for distribution to management and senior management.\n\nEnsures compliance with the department’s annual requirements.\n\nPerforms other duties as needed.\n\nWhat you have:\nBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.\n\n2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.\n\nActively pursuing or in possession of a CPA, CIA, or CISA certification.\n\nCompletion of, within 24 months of starting the position, Internal Auditor I class.\n\nWhat you're good at:\nDemonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.\n\nExcellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.\n\nAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.\n\nHigh level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.\n\nProficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.\n\nKnowledge of internal auditing and accounting principles, practices, and concepts.\n\nWhat else?\nOccasional travel may be required. \n#LI-CR1\nMohawk Industries is a leading global flooring manufacturer that creates products to enhance residential and commercial spaces around the world.
