Come find your “more” with Mohawk!\nPrimary Objective:\nService and maintain production machines in twisting and/ or heatset\n\nEnsure plant machinery and equipment runs efficiently by minimizing down time.\n\nMajor Function and Scope:\nPerform maintenance on all equipment and machinery\n\nWelding\n\nFilling propane tanks\n\nCharge grinder blades\n\nBlow forklift radiator out with compressed air\n\nChecking mechanics of lift truck\n\nGrinding any materials with electric grinder\n\nMeeting deadlines when repairing equipment\n\nMay be required to operate powered industrial trucks/equipment such as forklifts, lift trucks, etc.\n\nAttend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision\n\nFollow all established standard operating and safety procedures as well as company policies\n\nPerform general housekeeping duties as necessary\n\nPerform other tasks assigned by management\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred\n\nLift Truck Certification preferred\n\nSuccessful completion of all required on the job training\n\nSuccessful completion of all required health and environmental safety training\n\nReads and writes in standard English and proficient performing basic math calculations such as addition and subtraction\n\nMinimum of 1-year maintenance experience with twisters and or heatset/superba preferred\n\nPrevious maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred\n\nFamiliar with OSHA rules and regulations\n\nBeing bilingual is a plus\n\nMohawk Industries is a leading global flooring manufacturer that creates products to enhance residential and commercial spaces around the world.
