If this sounds outstanding to you, take the first step forward and explore a career with Dal-Tile.\nThe Multi-Craft Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment and systems. This role requires expertise in both mechanical and electrical disciplines, with a strong emphasis on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement.\nSIGN ON BONUS: $3000 payable $1500 at 3 months and $1500 at 6 months.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPerform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.\nTroubleshoot and repair motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and other plant equipment.\nRead and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.\nInstall, maintain, and upgrade electrical wiring, control systems, and mechanical components.\nCollaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.\nMaintain accurate maintenance records in CMMS.\nEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.\nParticipate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or related field preferred.\nMinimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role.\nStrong knowledge of mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, etc.) and electrical systems (480V, 3-phase, controls, PLCs).\nAbility to use diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.\nFamiliarity with CMMS systems and basic computer skills.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.\nWork Environment:\nMust be able to work in a hot, cold, noisy, and dusty industrial environment.\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed.\nWillingness to work overtime, weekends, or on-call as required.\nWe offer competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, career opportunities, and an environment of creativity and growth.
