This role will focus on OneStream Software, a unified Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform for finance that blends financial close, consolidation, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting into a single system. The Data Architect collaborates with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of OneStream environments.\nWhat you’ll do:\nDesigns OneStream architecture solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements. \nDevelops and implements best practices for OneStream deployments, integrations, and operations.\nCollaborates with finance and IT stakeholders to align OneStream strategies with organizational goals. \nOversees the migration of financial applications, data, and reporting processes into OneStream.\nEvaluates and recommends OneStream features, tools, and extensions to maximize business value. \nEnsures compliance with financial data governance, security standards, and regulatory requirements. \nMonitors OneStream systems, identifying and resolving performance or reliability issues. \nCreates and maintains technical documentation for OneStream architectures and solutions. \nResearches emerging EPM technologies and advises on their potential application within OneStream. \nProvides technical guidance and mentorship to team members working with OneStream. \nLeverages creativity and comprehensive process, technical, or operational understanding to resolve a wide range of issues. \nContributes to departmental strategy and goal development through OneStream-enabled insights. \nCreatively and strategically supports key business objectives with unified EPM solutions. \nParticipates in and may manage large, cross-functional projects or initiatives with strategic importance. \nPerforms high-level critical thinking, detailed information gathering, and application of business knowledge. \nGenerates fresh perspectives, breakthrough ideas, and new approaches that create value in financial reporting and analytics. \nProactively investigates and/or leads investigations of alternative approaches, technologies, or partnerships. \nPerforms other duties as needed.\nWhat you have:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field, or equivalent education and/or experience. \n6-8 years of relevant experience in data architecture or financial systems. \n4+ years of hands-on experience with OneStream Software (design, configuration, and integration). \nStrong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing. \nExperience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and financial reporting tools. \nProficiency in SQL and familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). \nOneStream certification or equivalent experience is a plus.\nWhat you’re good at:\nRequires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field.\nRecognized cross-functionally as an expert within one or two subject matter areas.\nExcellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.\nAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.\nHigh level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.\nProficient using Microsoft Suite of products. \nFlexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player and able to handle multiple projects at once.\nHigh degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.\nWhat else:\nTemporary indirect reporting relationships may exist while working as Project lead.
