As the Manufacturing Machine Operator, we need someone to operate production equipment, monitor production parameters and make decisions on when to adjust the process.\nPrimary Objective\nOperates production equipment, monitors production parameters, inspects or tests product for conformance to specifications, records data, and makes decisions on when to adjust the process or contact supervision for guidance.\nMajor Function and Scope\nOperates production equipment according to standard operating procedures. \nMay function as a sorter, box assembler, or relief operator for the kiln or automatic sorting equipment. \nConducts tests or inspections as required on the control plan and according to test methods. \nPerforms additional job tasks as documented in the job task check sheet. \nMay stop production equipment when a safety, quality, or mechanical problem prevents equipment use or conformance to product requirements. \nFollows ISO operating procedures and maintains quality checks as specified. \nMonitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor. \nKeeps area safe, clean, and organized. \nPerforms other related duties as required. \nExperience and Knowledge Required\nHigh school diploma or equivalent experience.\n1 year Manufacturing experience preferred. \nCompetencies\nRoutinely working at a height that requires fall protection. Good oral communications skills. Good listening skills.
