This role will be responsible for shredding, weighing, and preparing PVA according to established recipes, maintaining material inventory, and ensuring equipment and work areas are properly maintained. This team member will also support production shifts by training operators, coordinating material needs, and communicating with leadership to help the plant meet quality and efficiency goals.\nDuties and Responsibilities of the Position: Using brief, bulleted, narrative statements, describe the main tasks and responsibilities that an employee in this position would be expected to manage.\nShred Line 2 PVA that has been removed from slabs in the designated shredder.\n\nWeigh and bag shredded PVA to specific weight to be loaded into day tank.\n\nPrepare pre-blended jugs of liquid chemicals to specific recipe for PVA preparation.\n\nPrepare PVA day tanks to be used during production.\n\nOversee housekeeping and organization of general are around PVA station.\n\nTrain operators on preparing day tanks with the recycled PVA recipe.\n\nMaintain equipment and work with maintenance when necessary.\n\nMaintain schedule for necessary materials to meet production needs.\n\nCreate and maintain weighing station for shredded PVA.\n\nCreate and maintain weighing station for liquid chemicals.\n\nOversee inventory of the materials needed for recycling PVA and inventory of Prepped PVA for production needs.\n\nCommunicate with production shifts and management to ensure production needs are met with PVA.\n\nRequired Experience and Education: Describe the education, years of experience, and any certifications necessary to complete the duties and responsibilities of this position.\n2-4 years of job specific experience or equivalent education and/or experience.\n\nCompetencies: Describe the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position in terms of technical, managerial, interpersonal skills and unique abilities.\nDemonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.\n\nExcellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.\n\nAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.\n\nHigh level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.\n\nProficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.\n\nOther Pertinent Job Information: Travel time, how many people they will manage, if any, the work environment, etc.\n\nDisclaimer: It is not designed to contain or be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required of employees assigned to this job.\n\nOccasional travel is required.\n\nThis role may work in classrooms, offices, and high-traffic production floors.\n\nWe offer competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, career opportunities, and an environment of creativity and growth.
