This role involves analyzing complex financial information, reconciling accounts, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.\nDuties and Responsibilities of the Position:\nMaintains updated and accurate automated or manual filing and data systems that provides a quick reference database of records.\nFulfills reporting requirements for all ad hoc requests.\nCompletes financial close which includes physical inventory, journal entries, and completing month-end reports.\nPrepares plant account reconciliations.\nCompiles, analyzes, calculates cost data, and maintains the standard cost for manufactured products.\nResearch variance issues to determine root causes.\nVerify that statistical and financial reports are accurate and in compliance.\nInteract with internal and external auditors as required.\nPrepare monthly capital forecasts.\nAnalyze capital investments and calculate payback and rate of return.\nComplete Annual Operating Plan.\nComplete monthly financial forecast.\nPerform other duties as necessary.\nRequired Experience and Education:\nBachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.\n4-6 years of job-related experience or equivalent education and/or experience.\nCPA certification preferred.\nCompetencies:\nKnowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) required and Sarbanes-Oxley.\nRequires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline.\nExcellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.\nAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.\nHigh level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.\nProficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.\nFlexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.\nHigh degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedure.\nProficient in SAP systems.\nOther Pertinent Job Information: Travel time, how many people they will manage, the work environment, etc.\nDisclaimer: It is not designed to contain or be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required of employees assigned to this job.\nLimited travel of 1-3 times annually\nAble to travel to both plant locations\nWe offer competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, career opportunities, and an environment of creativity and growth.
