This role is responsible for training and developing hourly employees, estimating personnel needs, assigning tasks, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of work, and interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.\nShift:\n1st shift hours (Monday - Friday)\nDuties and Responsibilities of the Position:\nSupervise the department distribution functions, which may include reviewing orders and/or schedules to ensure that activities within the department are completed according to established schedules, determining work priorities and work assignments required to meet the established schedule, and coordinating proper staffing and equipment needs to accomplish daily operational objectives cost-effectively and efficiently.\nMaintain necessary inventory of materials and supplies in the work area to satisfy daily operational demands.\nSupervise the movement of finished goods through the warehouse from receiving to shipping and returns.\nSelect, hire, train, and appraise Distribution Team Members to attain the highest quality service standards and achieve optimal productivity levels.\nComplete performance evaluations and perform continuous performance feedback.\nProvide a safe work environment that meets the guidelines of the Company safety program while achieving the departmental safety goals.\nContinuously measure/monitor performance according to established standards.\nPerform other duties as needed.\nRequired Experience and Education:\nBachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.\n4-6 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.\n0-2 years of management experience.\nCompetencies:\nRequires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field.\nFocused on and responsible for their team's productivity and collective impact.\nExcellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nAble to multitask, prioritize, delegate, and manage time effectively.\nHigh level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.\nProficient in using Microsoft Office Suite products.\nFlexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.\nA high degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.\nOther Pertinent Job Information: This employee will be responsible for direct reports.\n\nWe offer competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, career opportunities, and an environment of creativity and growth.
