If this sounds outstanding to you, take the first step forward and explore a career with Dal-Tile.\nJob Objective\nThe Supply Chain Manager provides high-level support to the department by overseeing account and order maintenance for the department and acts as a key liaison between customers and IT for technical support needs regarding SAP and other software services.\nDuties and Responsibilities of the Position:\nCommunicate and partner with various departments and customers to design processes, research and identify\nneeds requirements, and improve inefficiencies in company systems.\nCoordinate with various departments to document and analyze SAP and other software systems and provide the\nstrategic direction of supply chain operations.\nManage maintenance requests and shipping orders to ensure correct coding is used and external and internal\nrevenue is properly recorded and accounted for.\nMay oversee pricing analytics to suggest rate changes of freight pricing to customers.\nTrack and analyze key performance indicators for various software systems and crucial areas of focus to create\nstand operating procedures and improve operations.\nManage and participate in multiple large cross-functional projects or processes at once to generate solutions to\ncomplex problems regarding supply chain operations and/or SAP and IT requirements for various departments\nand customers.\nLeverage creativity and comprehensive process, technical, or operational understanding to resolve a wide range\nof issues and contribute to departmental strategy and goal development.\nCreatively and strategically support key business objectives.\nCoach, review, and delegate work to lower-level professionals.\nInfluence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures.\nPerform high-level critical thinking, detailed information gathering, and application of business knowledge.\nGenerate fresh perspectives, breakthrough ideas, and new approaches that create value in the market.\nProactively investigate and/or lead investigations of alternative approaches, technologies, or partnerships.\nPerform other duties as needed.\nRequired Experience and Education:\nBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.\n6-8 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.\nCompetencies:\nRequires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field.\nRecognized cross-functionally as an expert within one or two subject matter areas.\nExcellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.\nAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.\nHigh level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.\nProficient using Microsoft Office Suite products, SAP, and other various software systems.\nFlexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.\nHigh degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines\nand procedures.\nOther Pertinent Job Information:\nTemporary indirect reporting relationships may exist while working as Project lead.
