The consultant will work directly with infrastructure and application teams to migrate AWS environments, modernize platform capabilities, and implement operational best practices across the enterprise. The focus will be AWS migrations, Kubernetes operations, infrastructure automation, and helping bring existing cloud environments into alignment with established platform standards.\n Key Responsibilities:\nDesign, build, and maintain secure, scalable, resilient, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.\nSupport the migration of AWS accounts, applications, workloads, and cloud resources into standardized platform environments.\nBuild and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and automation-first operational practices.\nConfigure, manage, optimize, and troubleshoot Amazon EKS clusters, Kubernetes components, and core platform add-ons.\nDeploy and manage Kubernetes applications using Argo CD and Helm.\nHelp migrate appropriate AWS Lambda workloads and scheduled jobs to Kubernetes-based services.\nBuild, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.\nConfigure, manage, and troubleshoot GitLab runners.\nBuild and support the infrastructure required by application development teams.\nManage Kong Gateway and its supporting infrastructure.\nIntegrate security controls and DevSecOps practices into infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows.\nSupport SDLC governance and SOC 2 compliance requirements.\nMust-Have Experience\nStrong hands-on experience designing, administering, and troubleshooting production AWS environments.\nExperience building secure, scalable, highly available AWS cloud architectures.\nAdvanced hands-on experience using Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.\nPractical experience troubleshooting AWS services, including EC2, EKS, IAM, VPCs, networking, and load balancers.\nStrong Kubernetes operational experience, including:\nAmazon EKS administration\nApplication deployment and troubleshooting\nCluster administration\nKubernetes networking and security\nCore Kubernetes objects and platform components\nHands-on experience deploying and managing applications using Argo CD and Helm.\nExperience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.\nStrong understanding of AWS IAM roles, policies, permission boundaries, trust relationships, and role-assumption patterns.\nWorking knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering, DevSecOps, cloud security, monitoring, and observability practices.\nExperience supporting production-grade application infrastructure and distributed systems.\nAbility to work within established enterprise architecture, security, networking, and engineering standards.\nPreferred Experience\nAWS or Kubernetes certifications.\nExperience migrating AWS Lambda or other serverless workloads to Kubernetes.\nExperience with Kong Gateway.\nFamiliarity with scheduled-job orchestration platforms such as Kestra.\nExperience supporting SDLC governance and SOC 2 compliance controls.\nEmployment Structure\nWe hire employees in Argentina through Deel, our Employer of Record (EOR) partner.
