About the role :
We are seeking a talented Computer Vision Engineer with strong expertise in microservice deployment architecture to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and deploying computer vision models to analyze retail surveillance footage for use cases such as theft detection, employee efficiency monitoring, and store traffic analysis.
Responsibilities :
- Design and implement scalable, cloud-based microservices to deliver real-time and post-event analytics.
- Build, train, and optimize deep learning models for theft detection, productivity monitoring, and traffic analysis.
- Design and deploy scalable microservice-based solutions for cloud or on-premise environments.
- Develop data pipelines to process real-time and batch video data streams.
- Collaborate with backend and frontend engineers to integrate computer vision services with POS, inventory, and scheduling systems.
- Fine-tune models for high accuracy and real-time inference on edge devices or cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor model performance in production and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards.
Requirements :
- 5+ years of experience in computer vision (object detection, action recognition, multi-object tracking).
- Hands-on experience with microservices deployment on AWS, GCP, or Azure using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with real-time video analytics and large-scale video data.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, or Java.
- Expertise in deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, serverless computing, SQL/NoSQL, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Familiarity with edge computing and hardware acceleration (GPUs, TPUs).
- Experience with edge device deployment (NVIDIA Jetson, Coral).
