Real responsibility.\nWe’re looking for a Category Manager who can think strategically, collaborate across countries, and turn category insights into measurable business results. This role sits at the heart of MOL Group’s operations, shaping Equipment categories by strategies, driving innovation, and support our long-term environmental and operational goals.\nMain Responsibilities\nManage equipment categories in MOL Group (MRO - Maintenance, Repair, spare parts, mechanical, laboratory etc)\n\nBuild strong collaboration across Procurement and related functions in all assigned countries (EU region, mainly Cro, Hu, Sk)\n\nLead the development and implementation of category strategies and working groups\n\nDrive cross-functional Category Working Groups and manage supplier selection within value limits\n\nCreate and execute short-, mid-, and long-term procurement plans aligned with business needs\n\nManage category projects, including new technologies, scope extensions, savings initiatives, and supplier performance programs\n\nWork with Sourcing to prepare negotiation plans and support supplier negotiations and claim management\n\nOversee Supplier Relationship Management: segmentation, evaluation, development, PI/PO initiatives\n\nDeliver KPIs, savings targets, and category performance commitments\n\nRequirements\nUniversity degree (Economics, Engineering, or similar)\n\n5-6 years of procurement or category management experience\n\nFluent English\n\nERP knowledge (SAP preferred), BI tools, MS Office\n\nWillingness to travel; B-category driving license\n\nStrong analytical and negotiation skills\n\nEnergetic, self-driven working style with the ability to move initiatives forward independently\n\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits package\n\nFlexible cafeteria system (e.g., SZÉP card, AYCM card, MOL LIMO)\n\nLife and health insurance, including a full medical care package\n\nHQ presence, responsibility/visibility on group level\n\nAccess to health programs and company events\n\nAt MOL Group, we know that our strength lies in diversity.
