The position requires independent delivery of well-scoped tasks and close collaboration with business and technical teams.\n\nBasic Requirements\n\nAbility to translate business questions and reporting requirements into datasets, metrics, reports, and clear acceptance criteria.\n\nAbility to write and troubleshoot SQL queries independently and understand relational data models, joins, aggregations, and data quality issues.\n\nAbility to investigate discrepancies between source records and report results and explain findings to stakeholders.\n\nFamiliarity with structured delivery, documentation, version control, and collaboration across business and IT teams.\n\nInterest in process automation and responsible, practical use of AI tools.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nGather and clarify reporting needs, definitions, filters, refresh frequency, and expected outputs with business stakeholders.\n\nDesign, build, maintain, and improve operational and management reports, dashboards, datasets, and analytical queries.\n\nWrite and optimize SQL queries; work with relational databases to extract, combine, and analyze data from different sources.\n\nValidate report figures against source systems and agreed business rules; investigate and resolve data discrepancies.\n\nDocument report logic, KPI definitions, data sources, dependencies, and usage instructions.\n\nAnalyze trends and exceptions and present findings in a clear, actionable form.\n\nMap business workflows, identify repetitive steps suitable for automation, and contribute to RPA or workflow solutions.\n\nDevelop or adjust scripts and automation components within the team’s standards; document and monitor the resulting processes.\n\nExplore AI-assisted solutions for specific analysis or workflow tasks, assess output quality and data sensitivity, and implement approved use cases with the team.\n\nCollaborate with business analysts, developers, and system owners to clarify requirements and resolve reporting or automation issues.\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\n\nAt least 2 years of relevant experience in reporting, data analysis, business intelligence, or data-focused development.\n\nSolid practical SQL skills, including complex joins, common table expressions, aggregations, and query troubleshooting.\n\nExperience working with relational databases and understanding schemas, data types, keys, and data integrity.\n\nHands-on experience creating reports or dashboards in a BI or reporting platform and validating business metrics.\n\nAbility to document technical logic and communicate clearly with both technical and business colleagues.\n\nAnalytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and deliver tasks independently.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience with Oracle or PostgreSQL, including PL/SQL or comparable procedural SQL.\n\nExperience with enterprise BI tools such as SAP BusinessObjects or comparable platforms.\n\nPractical knowledge of a scripting language such as Python for data processing or automation.\n\nExposure to RPA platforms, workflow automation, APIs, or integrations between business applications.\n\nFamiliarity with AI tools or APIs for analysis and automation, including evaluation of output and safe handling of company data.\n\nExperience using Jira, Git, or comparable collaboration and version control tools.\n\nAdditional Information\n\nWork environment: Collaborative and cross-functional, with a strong focus on data quality, reliable reporting, and practical solutions for business users.\n\nLocation: Office-based or hybrid, depending on project and team needs.\n\nSummary\n\nThe specialist will turn business needs and source data into trustworthy reports and useful analyses, while contributing to workflow and RPA initiatives.
