Join our team and play a key role in driving operational excellence and supporting our growing business.\nPosition Summary\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with 2-3 years of manufacturing experiencewho wants to take ownership of projects, drive improvements, and contribute to new product launches in a fast-paced production environment. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will work closely with operations, quality, engineering, and production teams to improve manufacturing performance, troubleshoot issues, and support the successful launch of new products.\nKey Responsibilities\nProcess Improvement & Operational Excellence\nDrive process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality\nLead and support Lean, Six Sigma, and cost-reduction initiatives\nAnalyze production data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities\nMaintain standard work instructions and process documentation\n\nProduction Support\nProvide daily engineering support to manufacturing operations\nTroubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions\nSupport process capability studies, equipment validation, and cycle time improvements\n\nNew Product Introduction (NPI/NPD)\nPartner with engineering, quality, and operations teams to launch new products\n\nSupport process design, tooling development, feasibility assessments, PPAPs, first articles, and production trials\nEnsure successful product launches with minimal operational disruption\n\nSystems & Data Management\nUtilize ERP systems (IQMS preferred) to manage production data, BOMs, routings, and inventory accuracy\n\nMaintain data integrity and generate KPI reports to support decision-making\nAssist with system enhancements and manufacturing process integration\n\nCollaboration & Compliance\nWork cross-functionally to support plant and business initiatives\n\nEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards\nSupport capital projects, including equipment specification, installation, and validation\nPerform additional duties as required to meet business objectives\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field\nFamiliarity with ERP systems, IQMS preferred\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and project management skills in a manufacturing environment\nHands-on approach with the ability to work directly on the shop floor\nAbility to work independently and collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers\nExcellent communication skills across all levels of the organization\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in rubber, urethane, or related manufacturing environments\nExperience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)\nSix Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)\nKnowledge of material science and regulatory/compliance standards\nExperience with statistical analysis and process control tools\nWhy Join Molded Dimensions?\nOpportunity to make a direct impact on manufacturing performance and innovation\nCollaborative, team-oriented environment\nCommitment to continuous improvement and growth\nCompetitive compensation and benefits package\nAbout Molded Dimensions Group:\nMolded Dimensions Group is a trusted leader in the manufacturing of custom-molded rubber and cast polyurethane components.
