You’ll also take on the responsibilities of the Store Manager in their absence.\n Key responsibilities include:\n\nSuccessful candidate will be required to undertake an Amtra qualification to enable them to prescribe animal medicines.\nDriving store sales and margin performance through innovative thinking\nCollaborating on the creation and delivery of the store’s sales budget and business plan\nEnsuring visual merchandising standards are met and stock availability is maximised\nLeading seasonal promotions and local events with creativity and customer focus\nPutting customers first by ensuring every interaction is friendly, respectful, and solution-oriented\nRecruiting, onboarding, and developing team members who embody our values\nManaging stock integrity, store audits, and financial controls with accuracy\nEnsuring compliance with health & safety and company policies\nAbout You\n\nProven experience in a supervisory or management role within a retail or customer-facing environment\nExperience managing stock, merchandising, and delivering commercial targets\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nStrong understanding of retail operations, including sales, stock control, and customer service\nConfident interpreting financial data and managing budgets\nSolid IT skills and awareness of Health & Safety and GDPR compliance\nA natural ability to lead, motivate, and inspire others\nYou’ll be proactive, approachable, and solution-focused, with a flexible and team-oriented attitude.
