If you’re passionate about retail, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.\nAbout The Role\nContract: Permanent\nHours: Full-time\nHours of Work: 40 Hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis\nAs Store Manager Designate, you’ll play a vital role in supporting multiple stores, helping to deliver business plans, drive KPIs, and ensure operational excellence. You’ll lead by example, create a positive and solution-focused environment, and make sure every interaction reflects our values: customer first, innovative, knowledgeable, honest, committed, and courageous.\n Key responsibilities include:\nWorking with Store Managers to deliver business plans focused on growth and commercial success\nAssisting in driving KPI results across stores and engaging teams in achieving performance goals\nSupporting stock control, seasonal promotions, and merchandising to maximise sales opportunities\nCoaching and developing colleagues to build strong succession plans for the future\nSupporting recruitment, onboarding, and training to maintain compliance and nurture talent\nHelping organise daily operations and manage store security\nEnsuring compliance with health & safety policies and company procedures\nAbout You\n\nAt least 2 years’ proven management experience within a comparable retail role\nProven track record of delivering sales targets and managing budgets\nStrong understanding of retail operations, including sales, stock control, and customer service\nSkilled in problem-solving and decision-making under pressure\nStrong commercial awareness, including analysing sales trends and identifying growth opportunities\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead, motivate, and engage colleagues\nFlexible and adaptable, with a commitment to continuous improvement and team development\nA natural leader with a customer-first mindset and a passion for delivering outstanding service\nCurrent driving licence and willingness to travel across the region\nWhat We Offer\n Scottish Widows contributory pension -
