Let's build together.\nYour impact\nMollie has an important role and responsibility in the financial ecosystem, handling customer funds with a high degree of diligence and scrutiny. The financial services domain sits at the core of Mollie, it orchestrates all money movements to power all of Mollie's financial products.\nAnalytics engineering plays an important role in this ecosystem, as these core financial processes handle massive, complex volumes of data originating from different internal systems. By establishing robust data pipelines, maintaining automated data quality checks, and fostering deep collaboration with cross functional partners in Engineering and Treasury & Merchant Finance, the Analytics Engineering team ensures full data integrity and enables the daily reconciliation of Mollie's books.\nYou will be working on creating and maintaining critical data assets that enable Mollie to reconcile their books. This involves creating and maintaining solid dbt data models from raw source data to consumable mart tables. You will play a part in creating and maintaining tooling to visualize and report the required data, mostly in our BI tooling that makes it easy for the end user to extract the required data. To do this, you will be working closely with engineers to understand the inner workings of Mollie's money movements and, most importantly, get the correct data. You will also be collaborating with Merchant Finance & Treasury to make sure they can do daily reconciliation in our BI tooling.\nWhat you'll ship\nBuild and maintain dbt data models, from raw source data to consumable mart tables, powering dashboards that monitor critical payment metrics and track payment method performance across the Payments domain\n\nBuild and maintain BI tooling that makes it easy for end users to visualize and extract the data they need\n\nWork closely with engineers to understand how Mollie's money movements work and make sure the data is correct.\n\nPartner with stakeholders across Merchant Finance, Treasury, and the Payments domain to define and track key financial data, and enable daily reconciliation\n\nCreate compelling data visualisations and narratives that communicate your findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, through presentations, reports, and memos\n\nImplement data quality validation checks, testing frameworks, and proactive monitoring to ensure high trust in the data used for analysis and decision making\n\nContribute to a culture of technical rigour and data literacy by mentoring team members on analytics best practices and keeping documentation well organised and accessible\n\nWhat you'll bring\nStrong technical foundation in SQL and Python; experience with data modelling and automation\n\nStrong experience with cbt; additional experience in BigQuery/GCP and Airflow is a plus\n\nAbility to zoom out and to zoom in to support implementation, often on the same day\n\nSkilled at stakeholder management, especially across technical and non-technical teams\n\nExperience in financial data and financial processes is a big plus\n\nBusiness-aware, impact-driven, and curious\n\nGrow your way\nAt Mollie, growth is personal.
