If nights are not for you, this role is not.\nWhat you will do:\nShip features on Gluesync with the product team\nOwn small-to-medium work end to end: design, code, tests, review\nWork with SQL and NoSQL sources (Oracle, SQL Server, IBM i / DB2, MongoDB, Kafka, and similar)\nKeep quality high: automated tests, no silent regressions\nTake part in customer technical support on the CET night shift: troubleshoot production issues, help customers through Gluesync problems, and feed what you learn back into the product. This is part of the job, not a rare exception.\n Must have:\nAt least 4 years building backend services in Java\nAt least 1-2 years of Kotlin in production (the product is Kotlin; Java gets you in the door, Kotlin is how you ship)\nREST APIs, SQL, and at least one NoSQL store\nYou write tests and use Git like a teammate\nYou can reliably work CET nights (22:00-06:00) from wherever you are\nNice to have:\nKtor, Koin, Gradle\nDocker / Kubernetes\nKafka or other event streaming\nPrior CDC or database replication\n What you get:\nRemote from any country\nMacBook Pro\nPerformance bonus\nPartner training (AWS, MongoDB, and similar)\nCompensation from 40k€\nMissing a piece of the stack is fine if you learn fast.
