You will provide strategic legal advice on a wide range of sales trade practice matters.\nThis role reports to the Associate General Counsel - Canada and works closely with leaders across the organization.\nEmployees identified through our succession planning process as “Ready Now” will be considered first. Those who are identified as Ready in Time or who are not formally on a succession plan will be considered in conjunction with external applicants if a “Ready Now” successor is not appointed. \nWhat You’ll Be Brewing:\nYou will lead a team of talented colleagues and support their growth and development through career discussions and consistent one-on-one conversations \nProvide legal counsel and risk assessment to the Canadian sales teams on diverse legal matters including but not limited to sales, trade practice, pricing, shopper marketing, and revenue management to ensure alignment of risk tolerance. \nCollaborate with commercial leaders to review, draft, amend and negotiate legal documents, agreements, and commercial transactions to ensure favorable terms for the Company and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. \nRepresent Molson Coors on a variety of complex matters, contractual transactions, and lead all dispute resolution by sharing clear, well-reasoned, and creative recommendations so that decision makers are fully informed, and ramifications of options are presented. \nDevelop & improve contract management workflows, procedures, templates & playbooks. \nKey Ingredients:\nYou have a law degree and a member in good standing of a provincial bar. \nYou have at least 8 years in both law firm and in-house experience preferably with a CPG company.\nYou are an authentic leader.
