Now, all of it is up for grabs. The winner of the AI era of investment management will be a $100B+ company. We intend to be that company.\nTo get there, we're assembling the most talent-dense startup in New York. We hire people who are 1) exceptional, 2) allergic to anything that's not exceptional, and 3) recruiters of other exceptional people. We also have no tolerance for brilliant jerks.\nWe run lean by design. We work with a select group of the largest financial institutions in the world, go incredibly deep with each, and sit in the flow of trillions of dollars. We hire fewer people, ask each to own the outcome, and pay on impact - not tenure or experience.\nMoment is not for everyone. The standards are unreasonably high. The pace is intense. And there is no playbook.\nIn return: the best work of your career, building a generational company.\nAbout Moment\nMoment is the AI operating system for investment management, built for the world's largest wealth firms and fintechs. Moment works with firms managing more than $10 trillion in client assets and is backed by Index, a16z, and Lightspeed. Moment was founded by former quants from Citadel and Jane Street and is based in NYC.\nThe Role\nAs we enter a new era, we're hiring a Product Designer to help define what financial software should look and feel like.\nDesign at Moment doesn't just mean building the platform these financial institutions use. It means designing the new standard and building new frameworks that will drive the future of investment management at these firms and beyond - from the core infrastructure to how AI is experienced.\nYou will shape the foundation of how an entire industry works and design a unified platform that need to be beautiful, fast, and genuinely usable in the hands of demanding professionals. You'll obsess over the tiny details and the way things feel, and directly shape what we're shipping by prototyping and shipping code. Moment will be a generational company, and the design language you establish will set the standard for the wealth space and beyond.\nYou'll work closely with product, engineering, and leadership to deliver experiences that are as ambitious and distinctive as the company itself. This is a highly autonomous, highly collaborative role for a designer who's equally comfortable defining systems and shipping polished work. You can navigate different levels of abstraction; from foundational design frameworks to the smallest interaction details. You can clearly articulate, lead, and execute work that spans research, design, and prototyping.\nYou’re a good fit if you have\n2+ years of experience designing products\n\nPassion for making all products beautiful\n\nEagerness to build the foundation and set the design standard for tools in the wealth space\n\nAn eye for tiny details and how things feel\n\nAI-native and comfortable starting and designing in code with Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, etc.\n\nThe ability to just go figure stuff out :)\n\nEven better if you have\nWorked on complex systems\n\nWorked on an AI/agent product\n\nBuilt products from scratch\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase salary: $175K to $275K\n\nEquity: aggressive initial grant + annual performance-based bonuses\n\nOur beautiful West Village Office with a terrace / 5x a week in office\n\nFree lunch and dinner.\n\n$150 monthly gym stipend.\n\nHealth, dental, and vision coverage. 100% company reimbursement.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3522,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":2,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Equity"],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["AI Training Data & Annotation"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-05-20T19:11:22Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":4,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":1,"p_active":0.135,"p_room":0.28,"age_days":161,"expected_fill_days":28,"reasons":["conf:3","stale_co","ghost","win:tail","crowd:junior"],"computed_at":"2026-10-29T05:49:05Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":275000,"is_top_pay":true},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/moment-product-designer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/moment-product-designer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-29T10:55:52Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":16553,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-30T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":22204},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=22204"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fmoment-product-designer"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fmoment-product-designer"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fmoment-product-designer"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/moment-product-designer\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fmoment-product-designer"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":105498}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"moment.ai","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":105498},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people); https://alion.io/mcp with an Alion account has everything.
