This position is responsible for producing material that meets customer specifications, production schedules, and quality standards while maintaining compliance with all safety and operating procedures.Responsibilities Include:\nFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.\nEnsure machine guards, safety devices, and required controls are in place before operating equipment.\nSafely set up, operate, monitor, and adjust extrusion equipment to meet production and quality requirements.\nReview batch cards, work orders, production records, and specifications to verify materials, settings, quantities, and processing requirements.\nPerform required quality inspections, measurements, and production checks according to work instructions.\nAccurately complete batch records, production documentation, and electronic manufacturing records as required.\nFollow established procedures for material handling, identification, processing, packaging, labeling, and finishing.\nMonitor equipment performance and promptly report safety concerns, equipment issues, process deviations, or quality problems.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including during shift changes and production changeovers.\nCollaborate effectively with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to support operational goals.\nParticipate in required training and continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping.\nWork overtime, alternate schedules, weekends, or holidays as needed to support business requirements.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nThe following are required for the role\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nAbility to read, understand, and follow production instructions, work orders, safety procedures, and operating documentation.\nBasic math skills, including calculations involving weights, measurements, and quantities.\nAbility to accurately complete production records and documentation.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.\nAbility to safely operate manufacturing equipment following training and qualification.\nAbility to work assigned shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.\nAbility to meet physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nAbility to comply with company safety, quality, environmental, and workplace policies.\nSuccessful completion of applicable pre-employment requirements, including background screening and drug testing consistent with company policy and applicable law.\nThe following arepreferredfor the role\nOne or more years of current experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, chemical processing, or industrial environment.\nExperience operating extrusion, mixing, milling, or related manufacturing equipment.\nExperience following batch cards, formulas, recipes, or detailed production instructions.\nExperience maintaining production records or electronic manufacturing documentation.\nExperience weighing, measuring, mixing, or processing materials.\nKnowledge of manufacturing safety practices, quality systems, and housekeeping standards.\nExperience working in a team-based or shift-oriented production environment.\nFamiliarity with continuous improvement principles and practices.\nWhat We Offer:\nThe base salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography.If you are interested in this position, we’dask that you apply!#BePartoftheSolution\nAt Momentive, compensation is one part of your overall package.
