Perform all in process & final testing for various QC labs as assigned. Perform housekeeping & safety functions for the assigned process area. This position will act as a floater and may be assigned to any of the QC labs as needed.The starting pay rate for this position is $38.08.\nResponsibilities Include:\nClean dishes and labware.\nResponsible for retains, including transfers to storage areas.\nExecutes all weekly beds & fines testing.\nResponsible for routine, repetitive tasks, such as restocks supplies, change waste drums, etc.\nPerform basic in process & final testing.\nReport the results & disposition material in SAP monitors SAP card updates.\nPerform routine equipment troubleshooting, calibrations and control charting.\nPerform weekly shower, eye wash & fire extinguisher inspections.\nCollect water samples for daily waste water treatment testing.\nPerform general housekeeping.\nMaintain accuracy & timeliness of test data.\nQualifications:\nThe following are required for the role\nTwo year college degree in scientific or engineering field or 3-5 years of documented technical laboratory experience.\nAbility to balance multiple priorities and multiple tasks as required, in different laboratories.\nOperate & maintain a variety of test equipment of varying degrees of complexity, including but not limited to X-ray, BETC, Tensometers, FTIR, viscometer, hydraulic press.\nPerform routine equipment troubleshooting.\nAbility to effectively utilize personal, mainframe, & material movement computers & devices & site licensed programs.\nChange shifts as required to provide coverage.\nWritten and verbal skills to communicate and applicable math skills.\nFamiliarity with laboratory experimentation; ability to design experiments, collect, organize, and interpret experimental data.\nSuperior organizational skills to maintain accurate records.
