performance, and working directly with manufacturing operations.\nResponsibilities Include:\nAsset Health Mapping & Reliability Analytics\nSupport the continued development and implementation of the site's Asset Health Map program.\n\nCollect, organize, and analyze equipment reliability, maintenance, inspection, and operational data to improve visibility into asset health and performance.\n\nEvaluate equipment condition indicators and reliability metrics to identify emerging risks and improvement opportunities.\n\nDevelop tools and processes that improve how asset health information is tracked, communicated, and utilized across the site.\n\nAssist in establishing standardized methodologies for assessing equipment condition and reliability performance.\n\nPredictive & Preventive Maintenance Improvements\nSupport preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives that improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.\n\nReview maintenance strategies and equipment histories to identify opportunities for optimization.\n\nAnalyze condition monitoring data, inspection findings, and maintenance records to support proactive maintenance decision-making.\n\nAssist in evaluating maintenance effectiveness and identifying opportunities to improve asset performance.\n\nParticipate in ongoing initiatives focused on extending equipment life and reducing maintenance costs.\n\nAsset Criticality & Risk Assessment\nAssist in developing asset criticality and risk-based prioritization models that help guide maintenance and capital investment decisions.\n\nEvaluate equipment based on operational impact, safety, environmental, quality, and business risks.\n\nSupport the creation of risk-ranking methodologies used to prioritize reliability improvements and replacement projects.\n\nParticipate in equipment risk assessments and asset management reviews.\n\nHelp identify assets requiring increased monitoring, maintenance optimization, or future replacement planning.\n\nReliability Investigations & Root Cause Analysis\nAssist with investigations involving equipment failures, recurring reliability issues, and chronic asset performance challenges.\n\nSupport root cause analysis efforts to identify failure mechanisms and develop sustainable corrective actions.\n\nAnalyze historical maintenance and operational data to identify trends and recurring failure modes.\n\nParticipate in bad actor reviews and continuous improvement initiatives targeting underperforming assets.\n\nDocument findings and support implementation of reliability improvement recommendations.\n\nCapital Planning & Mechanical Reliability\nSupport long-range equipment replacement strategies and capital planning efforts.\n\nUtilize asset health and risk assessment data to help identify future investment priorities.\n\nAssist reliability engineers in evaluating equipment lifecycle costs and replacement options.\n\nParticipate in planning activities related to mechanical reliability and asset sustainability.\n\nContribute to projects focused on improving equipment availability, maintainability, and overall reliability.\n\nProcess Safety & Site Reliability Support\nSupport Process Safety Management (PSM) and site reliability initiatives.\n\nAssist in reliability reviews of critical equipment and systems that support safe plant operations.\n\nParticipate in equipment inspections, field assessments, and engineering reviews.\n\nCollaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering personnel to support safe and reliable production.\n\nGain exposure to industry best practices in asset management, reliability engineering, and manufacturing excellence.\n\nData Visualization & Reporting\nDevelop dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate asset condition, reliability trends, and business risk.\n\nUtilize data from SAP, maintenance systems, condition monitoring tools, and operational databases to support analysis efforts.\n\nCreate presentations that summarize reliability findings, project outcomes, and improvement opportunities.\n\nTrack key reliability performance indicators and communicate results to stakeholders.\n\nPresent project findings and recommendations to site leadership and cross-functional teams.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nWork closely with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, and Technical teams to support reliability initiatives.\n\nConduct field visits to verify equipment conditions and gather operational insights.\n\nParticipate in daily reliability activities, maintenance planning discussions, and project reviews.\n\nDevelop practical experience working in a manufacturing environment where reliability directly impacts safety, production performance, and business results.\n\nBuild relationships with experienced engineers and gain exposure to real-world reliability engineering practices.\n\nQualifications:\nThe following are required for the role\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.\n\nRising junior, senior, or graduate-level student preferred.\n\nAbility to work safely and effectively within an industrial manufacturing environment.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.\n\nAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\n\nMinimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 preferred.\n\nThe following are preferred qualifications:\nInterest in Reliability Engineering, Asset Management, Maintenance Engineering, Process Safety, or Manufacturing Operations.\n\nExposure to maintenance systems, SAP, Power BI, data analytics tools, or engineering software.\n\nKnowledge of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, instrumentation, or industrial processes.\n\nExperience with engineering projects, manufacturing environments, or maintenance-related coursework.\n\nFamiliarity with reliability concepts such as root cause analysis, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, or risk-based decision making.\n\nProgram Minimum Qualifications:\nThe candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship.\n\nThe candidate is expected to be available 40 hours a week for a period of 10-12 weeks between the
