You have to oversee the development of application code, contribute to and manage version-controlled source code repositories, and manage assigned tasks to create measurable value and deliver software to market using industry-recognized best practices. The lead should advocate the standards and guidelines set by the architects and leadership teams and must demonstrate quality, brevity, and timeliness in all deliverables. Technical lead have to raise the team's adoption of AI-driven engineering practices, and use AI strategically for delivery planning, risk assessment, and productivity gains. You will contribute technically towards the delivery, health, and growth of the entire team.\nA Day in the Life\nIn this role, the candidate will:\nManage a scrum team to deliver project deliverables on time and be the main technical face of the team for any decision.\nSuccessfully run Agile ceremonies and work closely with Product Owners on keeping the roadmap and the team’s current capacity in balance.\nHelp to educate and mentor other engineers, and participate in on-call duties for production issues as required.\nDevelop application code according to requirements and assigned tasks.\nContribute to lifecycle Flow and value streams by following and prescribing methodologies and best practices.\nSolve the most difficult software development challenges.\nMaintain a balance of business and technical acumen in decision making.\nContribute to source-code management and work item tracking best practices.\nContribute to the estimation process during planning exercises.\nProvide consultation to the development management team.\nContribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design reviews, writing user stories, reviewing code submitted by other engineers, and automated testing.\nWe Are Looking for Someone Who Brings\nExperience\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.\n8+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 4 years building and supporting .NET Framework/.NET ecosystem-based applications.\nHas 2-4 years of experience in managing a scrum team\nHas 2-4 years of experience developing with the Power Platform / Dynamics 365 / Dataverse\nMust-have skills\nStrong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) design and principles and is comfortable with working within an established code base.\nExtensive experience developing applications using .NET Framework and ASP.NET web forms.\nA self-starter who can work independently within a globally distributed team.\nExperience developing RESTful and SOAP APIs.\nExperience with developing middleware and interacting with components such as Azure Service Bus, Azure Function, and Kafka.\nExpertise working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript / jQuery.\nExperience working in one or more RDBMS such as SQL server and PostgreSQL.\nAgile development experience using a scrum tool such as Jira.\nExperience with Git and version control software such as GitHub or Bitbucket.\nExperience with CI/CD best practices and leveraging GitHub actions or equivalent.\nAuthentication and authorization using OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, and/or SAML.\nUnderstanding of emerging AI technologies and toolsets in support of engineering best practices, such as GitHub Copilot Chat, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.\nExperience with cross-repository dependency stewardship.\nExperience developing microservices and event-driven processing.\nGood-to-have skills\nExperience deploying to and managing the cloud; experience with Azure and AWS is a huge plus.\nExperience with performance testing and APMs at the enterprise level.\nExperience developing payment systems; knowledge of PCI requirements.\nExperience with IIS web server and virtual machines.\nExperience with Association Management software or the Association space.\nAbout Us\nMomentive Software amplifies the impact of over 20,000 purpose-driven organizations in over 30 countries, with over $11 billion raised and 55 million members served to date.
