Provide analytical leadership by guiding analytical standards, ensuring data quality and governance compliance, and translating complex data into meaningful narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.\nRequirements\nQualification\n3-year degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or similar (Essential)\nPost Graduate or MBA \nExperience\n8 years’ experience in data analytics or a related field (essential)\nProven experience leading analytics initiatives or mentoring analysts\nExperience translating business problems into analytical solutions \nKnowledge\nStrong business and commercial acumen \nAdvanced data, statistical and financial modelling \nData architecture and database development concepts \nData mining, segmentation and advanced analytical techniques \nBI and analytics platforms (e.g. Power BI, Qlik, etc.) \nSoftware Development Lifecycle (SDLC) \nCloud Platforms AWS, Microsoft, Snowflake or Databricks \nAdvanced SQL \nAdvanced Excel \nData visualisation and storytelling \nData governance and data quality principles \nData extraction and transformation \nDuties & Responsibilities\nLead the gathering, analysis and interpretation of data, identifying patterns, trends and insights that inform business strategy and performance. \nTranslate analytical outcomes into clear, accurate and accessible insights that support consistent, informed decision-making at operational, tactical and strategic levels. \nDefine and oversee detailed specifications for data sources, data flows, transformations, storage and reporting. \nEnsure the development and maintenance of analytical artefacts including source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries, and logical and physical data models.\nPartner with business and technical stakeholders to define analytical requirements, master and metadata definitions, and implement scalable analytics solutions.\nChampion enterprise and divisional data standards to improve data quality, governance compliance and analytical consistency.\nPromote reusability, maintainability, reliability and scalability in analytics and reporting solutions.\nEnsure the responsible handling of live and confidential data in line with governance and regulatory guidelines.\nAssess and manage the impact of changes to source systems on reporting, analytics and downstream business decisions.\nLead the design and delivery of professional dashboards and reports that support executives, management and operational teams.\nOversee testing, validation, reconciliation and data quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity of analytical outputs.\nEnsure accurate attribution of data to financial and operational cost drivers.\nCommunicate analytical progress, insights and outcomes through compelling data visualisations and narratives.\nLead the development of analytical and financial models to support forecasting, scenario planning and
