critical needs.\nJob Summary\nSeeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to provide comprehensive cloud software research, development, and engineering support for mission-critical applications operating in large-scale distributed environments\nThis role supports the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and system design through development, integration, testing, deployment, sustainment, and long-term enhancement\nThe Software Engineer will work on complex cloud applications and distributed computing platforms designed to process and analyze very large data sets\nThe ideal candidate brings deep software engineering experience, strong technical leadership, and the ability to design scalable, high-performance solutions in secure mission environments\nPrimary Responsibilities\nSoftware Design and Development\nPerform end-to-end software engineering activities including requirements analysis, design, development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis and resolution\nDesign and develop scalable software solutions supporting large-scale distributed and cloud computing environments\nAnalyze and resolve complex technical issues and implement sustainable software enhancements that improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability\nDesign and implement solutions using massively parallel computation models and NoSQL architectures to support large-scale data processing\nDevelop and extend Free and Open-Source Software (FOSS) and Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) products to meet mission and project requirements\nPerform object-oriented analysis and design for complex software systems\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, ontologies, schemas, data models, and interface specifications\n\nIntegration, Testing, and Deployment\nDevelop and execute unit, integration, system, and end-to-end tests\nDevelop and implement test plans, test scripts, and validation procedures\nIntegrate software components, data services, databases, and external technologies within distributed environments\nImplement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines\nDeploy and sustain software applications in production environments\nSupport performance tuning, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and practices, and system architecture\n\nRequired Qualifications\nMust have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph\nTwenty (20) years of experience as a Software Engineer supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university\nFour (4) additional years of Software Engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree\nMinimum of eight (8) years of software development or software engineering experience across the full software development lifecycle\nMinimum of six (6) years of experience developing software using high-level programming languages such as Java, C, or C++\nMinimum of five (5) years of experience developing software for UNIX/Linux environments, including Red Hat operating systems\nDemonstrated experience performing requirements analysis and design for at least one major object-oriented software system\nDesired Qualifications\nGraph Data Modeling and Performance: Experience designing and optimizing complex Neo4j graph schemas, including Cypher query optimization, index management, and APOC procedures for batch processing and large-scale data transformation\nEnterprise Java Microservices: Advanced experience with the Spring Boot ecosystem, including Spring Data, Spring Security, and Spring Cloud, with an emphasis on scalable, high-concurrency backend services and performance tuning\nGraph and Relational Integration: Experience integrating graph databases with relational databases or search technologies such as Elasticsearch to support polyglot persistence architectures\nGraph Analytics and Algorithms: Familiarity with the Neo4j Graph Data Science library and implementation of algorithms involving pathfinding, centrality, community detection, or other real-time graph analytics\nAdvanced Analytics: Experience developing data-driven or event-driven analytics using rules engines or similar orchestration technologies\nCloud Scalability: Understanding of large-scale cloud architecture and scalability patterns used in commercial cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud\nArtificial Intelligence and Pattern Discovery: Experience with genetic algorithms, inference engines, or techniques for identifying latent patterns in extremely large data sets\nSpecialized Data Processing: Experience with foreign language processing, multimedia exploitation involving speech, text, images, or video, or
