Most importantly, our exceptional employee retention rate reflects a culture of professional growth, mission focus, and dedication-ensuring long-term stability and expertise for our customers’ critical needs.\nJob Summary\nSeeking a Software Engineer to support a software development effort using Java as the primary programming language\nThe team operates in an Agile development environment to assign, track, and manage software activities and requirements\nThis position provides an opportunity to expand Java development skills while working with modern technologies such as Quarkus and PrimeFaces\nThe ideal candidate is a collaborative software engineer who can contribute across design, development, installation, testing, and quality activities in support of mission requirements\nPrimary Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, enhance, and maintain software applications using Java\nParticipate in Agile software development activities, including requirements analysis, task planning, implementation, testing, and status tracking\nDesign and implement complex algorithms while adhering to strict timing, system resource, and interface constraints\nPerform quality control reviews of software products developed by the team\nImplement recommendations for improving software documentation and development process standards\nCollaborate with team members and the customer to derive software requirements and understand project limitations, system capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces\nDevelop and maintain software that meets documented technical and operational requirements\nCoordinate software system installation activities\nMonitor system and equipment functions to ensure operational specifications are met\nSupport troubleshooting, software integration, and problem resolution activities\nDevelop and maintain technical and software documentation\nParticipate in peer reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement activities\nRequired Qualifications\nMust have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph\nSeven (7) years of experience as a Software Engineer supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university\nFour (4) additional years of Software Engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree\nExperience designing or implementing complex algorithms with timing, resource, or interface constraints\nExperience performing software quality control or peer review activities\nExperience supporting software installation, integration, and operational validation\nExperience working with customers or technical stakeholders to derive and refine software requirements\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience with one or more of the following is highly desired:\nJava\nQuarkus\nPrimeFaces\nDatabase application development\nSQL\nQuery development\nPostgreSQL\nElasticsearch aggregations\n\nExempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans.
