critical needs.\nJob Summary\nSeeking a Software Engineer to support the development, enhancement, integration, testing, and sustainment of complex software systems within a mission-focused environment \nThis role includes front-end development, cloud application deployment, workflow automation, and integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities into established systems and processes\nThe ideal candidate is a versatile software engineer with strong problem-solving skills, a solid foundation in software development principles, and experience working across modern web, cloud, automation, and DevOps technologies\nPrimary Responsibilities\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements\nAnalyze user requirements to derive software design, functional, and performance requirements\nDesign and develop user-friendly graphical user interfaces and interactive dashboards\nBuild responsive and accessible web interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js\nDevelop software using Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript\nDesign, deploy, and manage applications and supporting infrastructure in Amazon Web Services (AWS)\nWork with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and RDS\nSupport Infrastructure as Code using technologies such as Terraform or CloudFormation\nIntegrate new functionality into existing applications and tools through technology transfer and system integration activities\nDesign, implement, and maintain automated workflows that improve operational efficiency\nDevelop Python scripts and use workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or AWS Step Functions\nIntegrate artificial intelligence and machine learning models into existing software systems and workflows\nMonitor and optimize automated workflows and AI/ML model performance\nDebug existing software, diagnose software problems, and implement corrective actions\nModify existing software to correct defects, adapt to new hardware or environments, improve performance, or add new functionality\nIntegrate existing software into new or modified systems and operating environments\nDevelop and optimize database and data repository interfaces and queries\nDevelop simple and complex data queries for existing or proposed databases and repositories\nDesign and implement algorithms to meet system functional and performance requirements\nReview and test software components for compliance with design requirements and document test results\nAssist with developing and executing unit, integration, and software component test procedures\nWrite clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable code\nWrite, review, and maintain software and system documentation\nProvide recommendations for improving software development processes, documentation standards, and engineering practices\nSupport system design activities, including hardware/software tradeoffs, software reuse, COTS/GOTS evaluation, and requirements allocation\nAnalyze system performance standards, data flows, data usage, work processes, and problem areas to develop effective software solutions\nDesign and modify software systems using analytical methods and models to evaluate design outcomes and performance\nSupport CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments using Docker, and cloud security best practices\nUse tools such as Git and automated testing frameworks to support version control and software quality\nCollaborate with developers, system engineers, users, and other cross-functional team members throughout the software development lifecycle\nWork effectively both independently and as part of an Agile development team\nRequired Qualifications\nMust have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph\nExperience developing, maintaining, testing, and integrating software systems\nExperience with software requirements analysis, design, development, debugging, integration, and testing\nExperience with Python and modern web development technologies\nExperience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS\nProficiency with at least one modern JavaScript framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js\nExperience developing responsive web-based user interfaces\nWorking knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud-based application deployment\nExperience using Git and software testing frameworks\nExperience working within Agile software development environments\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team\nDesired Qualifications\nTypeScript development experience\nExperience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation\nExperience with Airflow, AWS Step Functions, or similar workflow orchestration tools\nExperience integrating AI/ML models into software applications\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines\nExperience with Docker or other containerization technologies\nKnowledge of cloud security best practices\nExperience developing database interfaces and complex data queries\nExperience
