It provides technical leadership across cloud, developer experience, observability, security enablement and runtime platforms.\nThe role owns the architecture of platform products and the platform-facing compliance envelope. It does not own business solution architecture, application architecture, domain design or detailed software engineering design. The primary objective is to enable engineering teams to deliver safely and rapidly through self-service platforms, automation, reusable capabilities and measurable guardrails.\nTechnology Environment\nThe role operates across:\nAWS cloud platforms and landing zones\nGitLab CI/CD and DevSecOps tooling\nBackstage Developer Portal\nKubernetes and container platforms\nInfrastructure as Code platforms\nObservability platforms (Datadog, OpenTelemetry, Grafana)\nIdentity and Access Management platforms\nAPI and Integration platforms\nShared engineering services and platform products\nEnterprise architecture standards and technology roadmaps\nRequirements\nMinimum Requirements\nBachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or relateddiscipline.\n\n10+ years experience across software engineering, cloud engineering, platform engineering or architecture.\n3+ years experience in a senior platform architecture or platform engineering leadership role.\nExperience building and operating enterprise-scale cloud platforms.\nExperience defining platform standards and engineering guardrails.\nExperience leading cross-functional technical initiatives.\nPreferred\nFinancial Services or Insurance industry experience.\nAWS certifications.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nPlatform Strategy and Roadmap\nDefine and
