Most importantly, our exceptional employee retention rate reflects a culture of professional growth, mission focus, and dedication-ensuring long-term stability and expertise for our customers’ critical needs.\n Job Summary\nSeeking a DevOps Engineer to support the delivery of a reliable, highly available platform that orchestrates microservices within a modernized operational system\nThis role focuses on automating infrastructure, optimizing system performance, and ensuring secure, compliant operations within a cloud-based environment\nThe engineer will work in a collaborative, team-oriented setting to enable continuous integration and delivery of mission-critical capabilities, primarily within a SCIF environment\nPrimary Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and Ansible to automate provisioning and configuration of cloud resources\nCreate scripts and automation solutions using Python and other scripting languages to streamline operations and improve efficiency\nManage and maintain RHEL systems, including patching, hardening, and ensuring compliance with security requirements\nInstall, configure, and optimize container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker Compose\nSupport data flow and processing tools such as NiFi and integrate with cloud-native logging and monitoring solutions\nBuild, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab runners and Argo CD to automate build, test, and deployment processes\nAdminister and support AWS cloud environments, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability\nImplement and maintain monitoring, logging, and metrics collection to support system health and performance analysis\nTroubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues in a distributed, microservices-based environment\nCollaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services\nRequired Qualifications\nMust have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph\nBachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education\n9+ years or more of professional experience; or 7+ years of professional experience with a related Master's degree\nCurrent Security+CE certificate\nExperience with Kubernetes, AWS, and IaC\nDesired Qualifications\nTwo (2) from below:\nDesign, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure including but not limited to EC2, Lambdas, S3, SNS, SQS, Event Router, Athena, Step Functions using Terraform and auto scaling\nUnderstanding of AWS networking principles to include VPCs, NATs, IP Gateway\nDevelop and manage Gitlab CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes\nCollaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability\nTroubleshoot infrastructure issues and ensure system uptime\nKubernetes experience with a focus on EKS, ECS, and/or Fargate\n\nExempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans.
