Most importantly, our exceptional employee retention rate reflects a culture of professional growth, mission focus, and dedication-ensuring long-term stability and expertise for our customers’ critical needs.\n Job Summary\nSeeking a Cloud Software Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and sustain cloud-native applications and data processing solutions supporting mission-critical Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) programs\nThe successful candidate will leverage modern cloud technologies, microservices, and containerized architectures to build scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions\nThis role requires close collaboration with software engineers, cloud architects, DevSecOps engineers, and mission stakeholders to deliver innovative capabilities within Agile development environments\nPrimary Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native applications and microservices using Java (Spring Boot) and/or Python\nDevelop and support scalable data processing pipelines for cloud-based applications and analytics platforms\nBuild, deploy, and maintain containerized applications using Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies\nDevelop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation\nIntegrate software solutions with AWS cloud services and distributed architectures\nImplement CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, deployment, and release management\nMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability within cloud environments\nUtilize monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack to maintain operational health\nCollaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to define requirements, develop technical solutions, and support continuous delivery\nParticipate in software design reviews, code reviews, system integration, and technical planning activities.\nSupport system modernization efforts while maintaining security, availability, and mission continuity\nRequired Qualifications\nMust have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph\nFive (5) or more years of directly related software engineering or cloud development experience.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline. An additional two (2) years of directly related experience may substitute for the degree requirement\nStrong proficiency developing applications using Java (Spring Boot) or Python\nHands-on experience developing and deploying applications within Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environments\nExperience with web application frameworks, RESTful APIs, and microservices architectures\nExperience building, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based data processing pipelines\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills\nExperience working within Agile software development environments\nDesired Qualifications\nAWS Certified Developer - Associate\nAWS DevOps Engineer - Professional\nCertified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)\nElastic Certified Engineer\nDeep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, including Pods, Services, Namespaces, Deployments, and resource management\nExperience developing Kubernetes Operators and Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs)\nExperience with distributed streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka\nExperience with graph databases such as Neo4j\nExperience implementing cloud monitoring and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar technologies\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including Terraform and AWS CloudFormation\nExperience with big data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark\nFamiliarity with DevSecOps practices, automated testing, and secure software development methodologies\nStrong problem-solving and systems engineering skills\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within fast-paced, mission-focused environments\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nCommitment to delivering secure, scalable, and maintainable cloud software solutions that support critical national security missions\nExempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans.
