Most importantly, our exceptional employee retention rate reflects a culture of professional growth, mission focus, and dedication-ensuring long-term stability and expertise for our customers’ critical needs.\n Job Summary\nSeeking an experienced Software Engineer to support mission-critical Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) programs\nThe successful candidate will analyze user and system requirements, design and develop secure, scalable software solutions, and support the full software development lifecycle within an Agile environment\nThis position requires strong software engineering fundamentals, experience with cloud technologies and DevSecOps practices, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality, mission-focused applications\nThe ideal candidate is a self-motivated software engineer with experience developing enterprise applications, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), supporting AWS cloud environments, and contributing to continuous integration and deployment pipelines\nPrimary Responsibilities\nAnalyze user, mission, and system requirements to develop technical solutions that meet functional, performance, scalability, and security objectives\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance enterprise software applications throughout the software development lifecycle\nDebug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects to improve system reliability, performance, and maintainability\nCollaborate with systems engineers, hardware engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure software solutions align with overall system architecture and operational requirements\nDevelop and optimize SQL queries, data retrieval processes, and database interactions supporting enterprise applications\nSupport software integration efforts across new and existing environments while ensuring system compatibility and stability\nDesign and implement efficient algorithms that satisfy performance, scalability, and resource utilization requirements\nDevelop and execute unit, integration, and system test procedures to validate software functionality and quality\nCreate, review, and maintain technical documentation, software designs, interface specifications, and implementation guides\nRecommend and implement improvements to software development processes, coding standards, documentation, and team workflows\nPerform peer code reviews and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with engineering standards and best practices\nContribute to Agile planning activities, sprint execution, backlog refinement, and continuous process improvement initiatives\nLead small development efforts or technical tasks while mentoring junior engineers as appropriate.\nAssist with coordinating software development activities to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of mission capabilities\nRequired Qualifications\nMust have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph\nMinimum of fourteen (14) years of experience supporting software engineering programs of comparable scope, type, and complexity\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or universityFour (4) additional years of directly related Software Engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree requirement\n\nExperience managing Agile software development workflows using Jira and GitLab\nExperience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies\nExperience developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform\nExperience implementing AWS cloud security best practices, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), network segmentation, encryption, and auditing\nExperience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines supporting automated testing, builds, and deployments\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience developing cloud-native or enterprise software applications\nExperience with Git-based version control and collaborative software development practices\nExperience supporting AWS cloud environments and cloud-native architectures\nExperience integrating Infrastructure as Code (IaC) into automated deployment pipelines\nFamiliarity with DevSecOps principles and secure software development methodologies\nExperience with automated testing frameworks and software quality assurance practices\nExperience supporting Department of Defense or Intelligence Community software development programs\nKnowledge of modern software architecture, distributed systems, and microservices\nExempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans.
