Most importantly, our exceptional employee retention rate reflects a culture of professional growth, mission focus, and dedication-ensuring long-term stability and expertise for our customers’ critical needs.\n Job Summary\nSeeking a Data Scientist to support a Natural Language Processing project focused on automatically processing spoken and written language data\nThe successful candidate will develop automated tokenization and linguistic annotation capabilities and evaluate model performance against human-generated annotations\nPrimary Responsibilities\nDevelop NLP solutions for spoken and written language data\nDevelop automated approaches for accurate language tokenization\nCreate automated solutions for annotating language data with parts-of-speech information\nAnalyze speech and text datasets\nImprove existing NLP models and processing techniques\nEvaluate model performance against human-generated annotations\nDevelop quantitative methods for measuring model accuracy and effectiveness\nDocument model performance, analytical methods, and recommended improvements\nRequired Qualifications\nMust have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph\nMaster’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, Associate's degree with 10 years of in-depth relevant experience that is clearly related to the position \nExperience with Natural Language Processing\nExperience processing text and/or speech data\nExperience developing automated language-processing solutions\nUnderstanding of tokenization and linguistic annotation concepts\nExperience evaluating model performance\nStrong analytical and software-development skills\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience with parts-of-speech tagging\nComputational linguistics background\nExperience evaluating automated NLP output against human-generated annotations\nExperience working with both speech and text datasets\nExempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans.
