You'll work closely with the HSE Manager, General Managers, and Senior Leadership to implement strategic HSE initiatives.\nYou'll also provide direct HSE support, guidance, governance, and leadership to our operational teams, helping drive performance improvement and foster a positive safety culture\nThis role is based in our Brisbane (Milton) office, with the opportunity for regular travel to our sites and operations.\nWorking with Monadelphous offers many benefits, some of which include:\nSafety and wellbeing at the forefront of our culture\nPermanent long-term opportunity with a Leading Tier 1 Contractor\nOpportunity for growth and career development\nKey Responsibilities:\nProvide specialist HSE advice and support to operational teams, ensuring alignment with legislative, client and company requirements.\nLead and support HSE audits, inspections, investigations and safety awareness initiatives.\nAnalyse HSE performance data to identify trends, emerging risks and opportunities for improvement.\nMonitor workplace practices and provide guidance to ensure compliance with HSE procedures, standards and legislative requirements.\nCoach, mentor and provide leadership to HSE team members and operational personnel to strengthen safety capability and performance.\nDevelop and implement practical strategies and initiatives to continually improve HSE performance.\nBuild strong relationships with key stakeholders and partner with operational teams to deliver effective HSE solutions and support.\nContribute to the development and review of HSE plans, systems and processes to support operational and business objectives.\nWhat you’ll bring:\nSignificant experience in a Senior HSE role within the Power/Transmission or construction industry will be highly regarded.\nHigh level of attention to detail, initiative and drive for continuous improvement.\nExcellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence, coach, and support teams in achieving positive HSE outcomes\nExperience in developing succinct, practical HSE management system documentation, with a working knowledge of legislative requirements.\nStrong technical HSE skills and knowledge of contemporary HSE management practices.\nDemonstrated incident investigation capability, including the ability to lead significant investigations, identify underlying and systemic causes, develop effective corrective actions, and coach and support site HSE personnel and operational leaders through the investigation process\nIntermediate user of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint & Excel) to accurately assemble and maintain document and quality records and produce accurate reports\nLife at Monadelphous\nThere’s lots to get involved in, celebratory or cultural events and so much more.
