Ensure resident satisfaction by delivering a variety of food options that are nutritious and well plated.\nResponsibilities and Duties\nPlanning, organizing, delegating, and directing all aspect of the culinary services department\nOversee the production of all meals while maintaining high quality, excellent service practices, and superior customer service\nHiring, training, and mentoring all culinary services department associates\nEnsure all HACCP protocols are adhered to and document to ensure safe food handling\nResponsible for adhering to budgets \nAbility to work at least one weekend day. Flexibility with schedule due to needs of culinary department.\n Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree required, preferably in culinary arts, hospitality, nutrition, or business\nMinimum of two (2) years culinary services administration experience, preferably in senior living\nServSafe certification required\nMust have training and experience in cost control, food management, and diet therapy\nProficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications\nPhysical Abilities\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.\nAn individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs.
