The Housekeeper is a non-exempt, hourly position. Looking for a part-time housekeeper.\nSalary range: $16.00 - $17.00 hourly\nJob Overview\nResponsible for maintaining cleanliness of resident’s apartments and common areas as assigned by the Maintenance Director.\nResponsibilities and Duties\nProvide housekeeping services in resident apartments by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash, and laundering linens.\nEnsure common areas are kept clean and sanitized as assigned\nHandle and store all cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations\nMaintain housekeeping storage areas are clean and organized\nReport maintenance issues to the Maintenance Director\nEnsure safety issues are reported immediately (broken glass, water leaks, broken locks, broken toilets, etc.)\nParticipates in and attends all in-service training as scheduled\nEnsures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures\nOther duties as assigned\n Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred\nPrevious experience in cleaning\nDependable and responsible\nAbility to communicate with residents\nPhysical Abilities\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.\nAn individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents.
