Your key responsibilities are as follows:\nWork independently and in a team while over communicating with the manager, project engineer and the teammates. Will mentor junior engineers. \nExecute complex engineering tasks involving planning, preparation, data/information collection and analysis and decision-making in a process involving peer reviews and documentation of the results. \nUse tenacity, patience, self-discipline and passion for excellence to assure accuracy of execution schedule, data quality/integrity, conformance to company best practices, clarity in communication and documentation. \nUse every opportunity to grow competency thru mentorship, curiosity, communication, exposure and initiative. \nResponsible for working independently and with a group of engineers on electrical designs. \nDesign, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems or subsystems. \nDocumentation of design architecture and formal design synthesis. \nModeling and simulation of performance of electrical circuits. \nElectrical schematic capture and BOM maintenance \nPCB layout and production of PCB cam files. \nInteraction with PCB vendors to verify quality builds. \nTesting and diagnosis of designs and verification of design goals. \nLead failure root cause analysis and develop corrective actions. \nPrepare test plans to support test implementation and reporting. \nMay be required to lead and mentor other engineers and technicians. \nRequirements\nThis position requires access to export-controlled information. Employment is contingent upon the applicant being a U.S. person as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3). \nExperience:\nA bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, ECE, or a related field. \nMinimum of 7 years of relevant experience, ideally within a startup or technology company. \nExperience designing RF circuits in the 200MHz to 20GHz range. \nExperience with low noise circuit design. \nExperience designing RF PCBs including best design practices for low loss, low crosstalk, and high signal integrity. \nExperience using Altium Designer a plus. \nSkills:\nSolid understanding of analog, mixed-signal, and RF circuit designs. \nAbility to design electrical schematics including development of circuit architecture and component selection to meet requirements for the system. \nAbility to use simulation tools such as SPICE for analyzing circuit performance. \nKnowledge of components available from key vendors which could be utilized to implement circuit designs. \nKnowledge of RF Design concepts and best practices. \nKnowledge of RF PCB Layout requirements and best practices. \nStartup Mindset:\nYou're creative, flexible, and eager to wear multiple hats. \nYou're passionate about building systems from the ground up and comfortable with ambiguity and change. \nBenefits\nThe expected annual salary range for this position is $175,000-$225,000.\nAs a
