Employment is contingent upon the applicant being a U.S. person as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3).\nExperience:\nA bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Physics, or a related field and a minimum \nSkills:\nBasic understanding of material properties, components, mechanisms, fabrication methods. \nBasic understanding of structural, heat and mass transfer theory. \nBasic knowledge of mechanical CAD software and quantitative analysis/programming tools and hands-on experience with basic machine shop tools. \nBasic knowledge of optical concepts such as polarization, refraction, diffraction, lensing. \nBasic knowledge of simple software scripting tools such as Matlab, or Python. \nStartup Mindset:\nYou're creative, flexible, and eager to wear multiple hats. \nYou're passionate about building systems from the ground up and comfortable with ambiguity and change. \nBenefits\nThe expected annual salary range for this position is $70,000-$120,000.\nAs a full-time employee, you will be eligible for Monarch’s comprehensive benefits package, which includes:\nMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance\nFidelity 401(k) plan with 4% employer matching\n20 paid time off
