Atrender.ai, we're redefining how humans use AI for work.render.ai enables anyone to bring ideas to life in minutes, using their words. We're a small, autonomous team - closer in spirit to an early-stage startup than to an established company. There's no fixed playbook: we're still figuring out what the product looks like, and every engineer helps shape that, not just build it.\nAbout the role: Define and drive the design vision for a product built from the ground up. You’ll own the design end-to-end, from discovery and strategy to polished, shipped experiences, working closely with engineering and leadership, and using AI tools and rapid prototyping to move fast.\nWhat you’ll do:\nLead and mentor the design team\n\nSet the design vision and principles\n\nDrive ambiguous problems from exploration through launch\n\nDesign AI-native workflows that make creating visual content effortless\n\nRaise the bar on visual and interaction craft\n\nInfluence product strategy and roadmap\n\nBuild design systems, components, and templates that scale\n\nUse AI tools and coding agents to prototype and accelerate execution\n\nValidate ideas through research and customer feedback\n\nRequirements:\n8+ years of product design experience shipping high-quality products\n\nTrack record of driving design direction, ideally on 0-to-1 products\n\nExceptional visual and interaction design, with a strong portfolio\n\nStrong product sense and strategic thinking\n\nHigh AI fluency\n\nExperience building and scaling design systems\n\nSystems thinking and the ability to influence through collaboration with engineering\n\nBuilder mentality, comfort with ambiguity, balance of speed and quality\n\nExcellent communication, low ego, team-first\n\nHigh proficiency in Figma and prototyping\n\nHigh-level English\n\nNice to have: Experience with AI-native or creative tools, B2B SaaS, startups or autonomous teams, and shipping with coding agents.","description_format":"text","description_chars":1938,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":8,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"English","level":"All
