AI Automation & Agent Builder
Monday Merch is building a faster, smarter way for companies to create branded merchandise. We combine a strong customer experience with the operational muscle needed to source, produce, personalize, and deliver merch at scale.
AI should make that system feel lighter. It should help teams find answers faster, remove repetitive work, catch issues earlier, and create a better experience for customers. We are looking for someone who can turn that idea into practical workflows people actually use.
We are already applying AI across engineering and operational workflows, not treating it as a side experiment. You will get access to the newest models and tools, including ChatGPT, Claude, and other frontier AI products, and help push that work further.
Location & work mode
This role is based in our Rotterdam office. We work together in person because the best automation ideas usually come from being close to the teams who run the business every day.
What you’ll do
Find high-leverage workflows across sales, operations, purchasing, finance, customer success, and the warehouse.
Prototype AI assistants, workflow automations, and internal tools that solve real problems.
Turn messy inputs from emails, product data, supplier files, order notes, and internal docs into clear actions.
Design prompts, evaluation sets, guardrails, and feedback loops so AI output can be trusted.
Work with the tech team to connect proven prototypes to the tools people already use.
Roll out improvements with the teams who will own them, and keep refining after launch.

Requirements
We care less about a perfect CV and more about your ability to spot a real problem, build a useful first version, and improve it until people rely on it.
What you’ll bring
You have shipped practical automations or AI workflows, not only demos.
You can work across prompts, APIs, no-code tools, scripts, spreadsheets, and product data.
You have good product taste: the things you build are simple, fast, and easy to trust.
You are comfortable with ambiguous operational problems and can shape your own work.
You communicate clearly with non-technical teammates and enjoy learning how their work actually happens.
You care about details, edge cases, and whether a solution still works after the first week.
You can work from our Rotterdam office.
Experience with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, OpenAI APIs, Make, Zapier, n8n, Airtable, Google Sheets automation, Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar is useful. You do not need to know all of them. The important part is that you can choose the right tool for the job and ship something dependable.
