Make It Possible.\nAs a Customer Service and Logistics Delivery Supervisor, you will be a front-line leader responsible for the day-to-day tactical execution of branch operations and broader Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) strategies related to both warehouse and delivery operations. You will ensure operational excellence in terms of service, cost, health and safety, quality, food defense, sustainability, and compliance with all legal requirements and internal policies.\nYou will work collaboratively with key internal and external (third-party logistics vendors) business partners to ensure effective management, timely solutions, and seamless execution across the supply chain.\nHow you will contribute\nYou will:\nOperational Management & Execution:\nManage daily plans, including order/route management and employee performance.\n\nMonitor inbound, outbound, co-packing, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure shelf-life management, reduce write-offs, and continuously improve productivity.\n\nOversee inventory management activities, including iDoc management and stock reconciliation, ensuring accurate alignment between SAP and warehouse management systems.\n\nConduct interfaces monitoring, track & trace, claims management, invoice management, and pallets management.\n\nSchedule delivery routes and conduct ride-alongs with drivers.\n\nCompliance & Risk Management:\nEnsure strict compliance with HSE, quality, and risk management standards, as well as HACCP guidelines.\n\nEnsure compliance with FMCSA Rules and Regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS), DOT breaks, and Electronic Logging Device (ELD) compliance.\n\nPromote a strong safety culture, reduce incident/accident rates, ensure successful roadside inspections, conduct DMS meetings, enforce pre- and post-trip inspections, and perform safety audits.\n\nPerformance Management & Continuous Improvement:\nAnalyze and verify capacity utilization, performance, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) monitoring, implementing corrective measures as needed.\n\nDrive execution against core KPIs in safety, service, savings, and people.\n\nLead project-related and ad-hoc tasks, particularly those connected to continuous improvement initiatives, tenders, and peak management.\n\nIdentify supply chain opportunities and participate in Lean Six Sigma projects and other continuous improvement programs.\n\nStakeholder & Vendor Collaboration:\n\nWork closely with service providers to ensure punctuality, completeness, and quality of deliveries to trading partners.\n\nManage third-party performance, fostering strong relationships and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders and customers.\n\nFinancial Acumen & Budget Management:\nBuild and provide full-cost analysis, including yearly budget, risks, and opportunities.\n\nManage the Delivery Labor Budget, approve payroll, and drive the lowest cost per case through productivity plans and loss prevention.\n\nTeam Leadership & Development:\n\nProvide ongoing coaching to delivery drivers, ensuring adherence to standard work processes for the Delivery Pillar.\n\nInterview, onboard, and develop direct reports through various formats (classroom, On-the-Job Training, work-with).\n\nCoach direct reports on development plans and manage local hourly employees (Union/Non-Union) through coaching, communication, and relationship building.\n\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs):\nPrimary: Delivery Labor Budget and Financial Acumen, Delivery Efficiencies, Overtime%, Driver Methods %, Driver Performance and Management, Routing and Compliance, FMCSA Rules and Regulations Compliance, Electronic Logging Device (ELD) Compliance.\n\nSecondary: Electronic Proof of Delivery (ePOD) %, Pre and Post Trip Compliance, % Handheld Usage, On-Time Delivery, Indirect Hours (non-productive).\n\nJob Specific Requirements\nHigh School Diploma (Bachelor's degree is preferred).\n\n3 years of experience as a Delivery Supervisor\n\nExperience in logistics operations, procurement, or a broader supply chain function (an asset).\n\nCandidate should be comfortable doing ride along frequently.\n\nExperience with Microsoft applications, especially highly experienced with Excel.\n\nGood knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP R3.\n\nExperience with Hours of Service (HOS) Guidelines.\n\nProven experience in the management and development of people.\n\nStrong analytical thinking skills.\n\nEnjoys teamwork and collaboration.\n\nStrong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.\n\nShift flexibility required\n\nTravel Requirements:\n\nTravel to Boise, ID facility for three days in a month.\n\nIt is recommended to have a Commercial Driver's License.\n\n** This role is for our third shift, overnight and onsite**\nSalary and Benefits:\nThe base salary range for this position is $77,600 to $106,700; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location.
