Make It Possible.\nAs a CS&L Delivery Supervisor, you will be a front-line leader responsible for the day-to-day tactical execution of branch operations out of our Brooklyn Park, MN location. You will oversee approximately 20 delivery drivers and drive broader CS&L strategies related to both warehouse and delivery operations, ensuring operational excellence in service, cost, health and safety, quality, food defense, sustainability, and compliance with all legal requirements and internal policies. Working collaboratively with key internal teams and external partners - including third-party logistics vendors - you will ensure timely solutions and seamless execution across the supply chain.\nHow You Will Contribute\nYou Will:\nOperational Management & Execution\nManage daily operational plans, including order/route management, dispatch scheduling, and employee performance.\nMonitor inbound, outbound, co-packing, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure shelf-life management, reduce write-offs, and improve productivity.\nOversee inventory management - including iDoc management and stock reconciliation - ensuring alignment between SAP and warehouse management systems.\nConduct interface monitoring, track & trace, claims management, invoice management, and pallets management.\nSchedule and optimize delivery routes; conduct regular ride-alongs with drivers to coach in real time and ensure adherence to standard work processes.\nCompliance & Risk Management\nEnsure strict compliance with HSE, quality, risk management standards, and HACCP guidelines.\nEnsure full compliance with DOT/FMCSA rules and regulations, including HOS, ELD requirements, driver qualification files, and drug & alcohol testing programs.\nPromote a strong safety culture by reducing incident/accident rates, ensuring successful roadside inspections, conducting DMS meetings, enforcing pre- and post-trip inspections, and performing safety audits.\nMaintain and monitor CSA scores and proactively address compliance risks.\nPerformance Management & Continuous Improvement\nAnalyze capacity utilization, performance metrics, and KPIs, implementing corrective measures as needed.\nDrive execution against core KPIs in safety, service, savings, and people.\nLead continuous improvement initiatives, tenders, and peak management projects.\nIdentify supply chain opportunities and participate in Lean Six Sigma and other improvement programs.\nStakeholder & Vendor Collaboration\nWork closely with service providers to ensure punctuality, completeness, and quality of deliveries.\nManage third-party performance and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.\nFinancial Acumen & Budget Management\nBuild and provide full-cost analysis, including yearly budget, risks, and opportunities.\nManage the Delivery Labor Budget, approve payroll, and drive the lowest cost per case through productivity plans and loss prevention.\nTeam Leadership & Development\nLead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 20 delivery drivers.\nInterview, onboard, and develop direct reports through multiple formats (classroom, OJT, ride-alongs).\nCoach direct reports on development plans and manage local hourly employees (Union/Non-Union) through coaching, communication, and relationship building.\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)\nPrimary: Delivery Labor Budget & Financial Acumen, Delivery Efficiencies, Overtime %, Driver Methods %, Driver Performance & Management, Routing & Compliance, DOT/FMCSA Compliance, ELD Compliance, On-Time Delivery %\nSecondary: ePOD %, Pre- & Post-Trip Compliance, Handheld Usage %, Indirect Hours (non-productive), Customer Complaint Rate\nWhat you will bring\nA desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:\n3+ years of experience in a delivery or transportation supervisory role.\nStrong working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations, including HOS, ELD requirements, and driver qualification standards.\nProven experience in the management, coaching, and development of people.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills\nStrong analytical thinking, communication, and relationship-building skills.\nValid driver's license with a clean driving record.\nAdditional Job Description\nMore about this role\nWhat you need to know about this position:\nFront-line leadership role responsible for day-to-day tactical execution of branch operations.\nWhat extra ingredients you will bring:\nExperience with ERP systems (preferably SAP R/3 or S/4HANA) and fleet management/ELD platforms (e.g., Samsara, Motive, Omnitracs).\nCommercial Driver's License (CDL - Class A or B) is strongly preferred.\nExposure to Lean Six Sigma methodologies or continuous improvement programs.\nExperience managing both Union and Non-Union hourly workforces.\nEducation / Certifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED required (or equivalent combination of education and experience).\nBachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.\nValid driver's license with a clean driving record required.\nJob specific requirements:\nProven track record in people management, coaching, and driver development.\nTravel requirements:\nComfort and willingness to conduct frequent ride-alongs with drivers to coach in real time, route reviews.\nWork schedule:\nShift flexibility is required as operational needs dictate.\n\nSalary and Benefits:\n\nThe base salary range for this position is $77,600 to $106,700; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location.
