Deliver Inventory accuracy objectives and ensure Operational requirements are consistently applied while complying to all boundaries & requirements on a regular basis. Provide appropriate and properly maintained Materials handling/ movement equipment and facility to ensure safe and efficient operations. Achieve AM-Autonomous maintenance and PM-Progressive maintenance Step completion goals for warehouse equipment & SGA teams to eliminate losses & downtime.\nLead optimum utilization of Warehouse space; conduct warehouse capacity plan review on a regular basis. Ensure storage and handling of all materials and finished goods adheres to standard palletizing, stacking and storage requirements. Manage and control the replenishment of stock at Distributor’s warehouses, analysis of inventory movements, to ensure inventory level in the supply chain is at manageable level, and no run or overstock situation and product freshness in the trade. Develop & implement overhead budgets to define cost boundaries for an efficient warehouse operation. Ensure cost targets are met via efficient utilization of equipment, workforce and utilities. The capability to work as the Team Leader, developing and aligning goal/master plan for the team, deploying and managing IDP-Individual development plan for the members, coaching team members on their performance management and career development.\nMore about this role\nImproving the effectiveness of our Materials Management systems, the Inventory Leader will ensure that processes are aligned with Class “A” MRP II measures and will support delivery and cost performance.\nDescribe the primary responsibilities of the position in order of importance and identify % of time spent on that responsibility:\nDevelop key performance indicators for the Materials group to achieve organizational goals and ensure factory systems are aligned with Class “A” MRP II processes as defined by Oliver Wight.\nDevelop and manage reports to evaluate inventory accuracy, Master Data accuracy (BOM / Routings), rework and waste levels.\nMaintain and distribute monthly metrics and performance charts.\nDevelop a high level of understanding of Materials Management and how it fits into a Class A / MRP II environment and how it supports the site’s true efficiency.\nProvide procedures, direction and support to Material Analysts and Operating team members.\nWork with our Leaders and Colleagues to develop a site specific Materials Management Strategy.\nWork with Accounting and Manufacturing to ensure systems are in place that allow for inventory integrity from receipt of goods, internal processing and through to finished goods.\nEstablish Material Handling processes and procedures to maintain accuracy of Master Data (BOM / Routings) and to accurately track ingredient and packaging waste.\nManage root cause analysis and identify corrective actions (involving people, procedures and equipment) to achieve World Class Measures for materials issues.\nCoordinate activities of Analyst and Production Clerks performing adjustments, movements and other inventory tasks.\nDevelop, train and motivate members of the Materials Team so they become capable of running all aspects of the daily business with respect to Materials Management.\nEstablish effective working relationships with internal customers to provide a high level of service to all departments.\nProvide an awareness of Materials management issues and requirements into the New Item and Product Change Control processes to help build accuracy and quality into the program. \nIs responsible for ensuring that relevant GMP procedures are understood and adhered to\nUnderstands and follows Ewen Manufacturing food safety systems and procedures\nIs responsible for ensuring that all food safety and quality issues are brought to the immediate attention of the Quality Leader\nResponsible for an active and effective safety program ensuring compliance to governmental and corporate requirements.\nResponsible for ensuring products are produced in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nEffort\nPhysical Effort:\n Work normally requires a low level of physical effort in bending, lifting, and manual dexterity.
