You will also help departments follow our established daily management system (DMS)\nHelp teams collect data or extract it from the system to support CI activities and the DMS\nLead and facilitate root-cause analysis to address identified losses and departmental KPI scorecard gaps\nEstablish new work standards to sustain improvement\nTrain and qualify colleagues on CI tools and new work standards resulting from CI activities\nCI and high-performance work systems experience\nStrong facilitation and communication skills to support team discussions on CI activities\nApplication of lean and/or TPM tools in a factory or operations environment\nAbility to manipulate and validate data in manual and automated systems\nOrganized and disciplined to support and educate on the DMS process\nLogical and structured thinking to extract insights from data\nThe Process Engineer will own the loss intelligence and loss elimination agenda in all dimension of manufacturing Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Morale across his/her manufacturing department with a special focus on improving equipment reliability and waste reduction\nPartner with manufacturing colleagues and other functional departments to identify opportunities and implement solutions to drive continuous improvement\nUses initiative and experience to maintain optimum efficiency of operation and quality of product.\nWork in a well-organized and systematic manner to minimize the possibility of error and maximize productivity, ensuring production targets are met (Safety/Quality/Cost/Delivery/Sustainability/Morale).\nParticipates in startups, shutdowns and changeovers to ensure they take place efficiently and effectively.\nPrepares solutions/premixes for manufacturing process.\nEnsure product has been produced according to formula instructions.\nResponsible for inventory management of ingredients for the work centre.\nMaintains and monitors manual and automatic controls, fill rates, additives, controls.\nOperates equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Formula and Process Instructions and Working Instructions.\nRecords pertinent information on all documentation and/or in the Quality Suites system, in accordance with good documentation practices.\nComplete 2nd Verification checks (where applicable).\nEngage in IL6S activities including Daily Management Systems, pillar membership, work process ownership and AM activities.\nPerform all other duties and tasks as assigned.\nEducation / Certifications:\nBachelor of Applied Science/Engineering degree (preferably Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial\nWork schedule:\nDay Shift (Flexible)\n\nSalary and Benefits:\n\nThe expected base salary range for this position is $69 800 to $87 250 CAD depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget.
