Join us at Mondi, where we strive to make a positive impact through responsible business practices and continuous innovation in packaging and paper solutions.\nSummary:\nOperate the paper bag making machine to produce mailer bags according to work orders and customer specifications, while ensuring optimal safety, quality, and production efficiency.\nYour Mission:\nSet up the mailer bag production line according to job specifications and customer requirements\nMonitor production flow to ensure quality standards and productivity targets are consistently met\nTroubleshoot machine issues and assist with repairs as needed• Manage product changeovers efficiently to minimize downtime\nEnsure all materials are prepared and available prior to production runs\nCoordinate activities of Assistant Operators and Inspectors to drive safety, quality, and efficiency\nPerform general machine maintenance and support upkeep of production equipment\nComplete and maintain accurate production reports for management\nLoad and unload trucks as required to support operations\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times\nOperate a forklift safely when necessary\nFollow all company quality standards, safety policies, and procedural requirements\nWear appropriate PPE and adhere to dress and safety guidelines\nAssist in identifying and resolving production or quality issues\nLearn and apply production processes, machine capabilities, and operational documentation\nSupport continuous improvement in production efficiency and product quality\nPerform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor consistent with the role\nYour Profile:\nHigh School Diploma or GED required\nAbility to operate a forklift\nManufacturing or production environment experience preferred• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills\nAbility to coordinate team activities and communicate effectively\nStrong attention to detail and quality standards\nAbility to read and interpret job orders, production documents, and instructions\nBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)\nAbility to complete production reports accurately and on time\nUnderstanding of safety procedures, including OSHA standards and lockout/tagout practices\nWillingness to complete training programs, including:\nPlant and safety orientation\nQuality procedures and ISO standards\nOn-the-job production training\nSQF food safety trainingAbility to maintain a clean and organized work area\n• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced production environment\n\nSchedule Demands:\nWork schedules currently available are: 1st Shift 7am - 3:30pm 2nd Shift 3:00pm - 11:30pm 3rd Shift 11:00pm - 7:30am \nPhysical Demands:\nStanding for extended periods\nAwkward and/or repetitive movements\nClimbing ladders and/or stairways\nMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly for up to 12 hours.\nOver 50 pounds requires two people or assisted lifting device\nReading computer screen or other electronic devices\nUse of various hand and electrical tools and equipment\nWork in areas of fluctuating temperature\nRequired to wear personal protective equipment (including but not limited to steel toe shoes, earplugs, safety glasses, and hairnet)\nWork Environment:\nWorks near moving mechanical parts.\nWorks on or with high voltage equipment (up to 480 volts AC).\nOccasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.\nOccasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.\nModerate heat (up to 100 degrees in the summer months).\nNoise levels of up to 90 decibels\nOur Offer:\nStarting Hourly at $25.50/HR-$32/HR\nFull Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance\n401k Retirement Savings Plan, fully vested and company match\nAn interesting job within the packaging & paper industry\nOpportunities for professional growth\nGet in touch:\nWe strive to create a culture that inspires our people to reach their full potential.
